Ingo is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series.

Ingo being ganged up by the Normal-Types and crippled from his abuse on them
Ingo was first seen in the stable at Lon Lon Ranch, when Link and Zelda II were kids, and he kept on cleaning it while ranting on how lazy Talon is and wishes to run the ranch himself over his brother. Seven years later, he did just that and simply called it Ingo's Ranch, always enslaving and abusing Malon, Epona, the horses and the Normal-Types. Only to make some prized horses for the great Ganondorf making the ranch his as a promotion. He met Link and offered him to try out his horses and was prideful about it. Ingo noticed his skills and camaraderie with Epona and was impressed. He then challenged them to a race around the corral and made a waver for 50 Rupees. They actually won over him, and Ingo was infuriated; he promised Link to keep the horse if he should win again. Unfortunately, Zelda II and her Pokémon wanted to help but were injured from all of Ingo's misery onto them. They won again and Ingo, losing his temper, realized he made a mistake as he wanted to present Epona to Ganondorf but he lost! However, he retained his wickedness as he forced them inside the ranch!
From a leap over one of the back fences, Link and Epona escaped his cruelty, then Zelda II and Rapidash followed! However, the Normal-Types stayed and ganged up on Ingo, tearing him apart limb from limb from all his cruelty! Revenge was certainly bittersweet as the horsemen listened to Ingo's screams, then Dodrio eventually joined their friendly race to the forest!
Ingo was soon seen again, as a more humble greeter to the ranch, saying he was happy to be there and employed by Talon again. Rumor had it that if Ingo should slip, the Pokémon and perhaps the horses may kill him!
