Jake Wells is a main character and research analyst for Homeland Security who works in the Washington Vault along Alex Norwood in Washington D.C.
The Demon from within[]
Jake was with the team as they ventured into the underbelly of Sleepy Hollow, where they faced off with the Satanists. Jake defended Alex as Guy was going after her! He tackled him and never let up as he was beating him! Alex was quite impressed, and he stated he used to be part of a school football team.
Sleepy Hollow, the Missing Episodes[]
He often functioned as Team Witness' analyst on each of the monsters they dealt with, such as the Kraken/siren hybrid, the Diafol Galon and its heart manipulations, the seven sacred Virtues (to which he gained the Virtue of Hope thanks to his descendant Paul Jennings), and the Horsemen. Before he fought Pestilence, he got a call saying that his girlfriend, Missy, passed due to a lethal outbreak. He wanted to have his vengeance onto Logan and Alex was the one trying to hold him back from doing anything reckless. Although he and Alex were looking for holy water basins, they found an ancient, open fountain, though it had been contaminated increasing Logan's health and immobilizing the team, till Gavin and Jenny intervened,
He also discovered Wormwood, and he fell so hard for Alex as Famine was infesting the world. He still functioned as normal, though, but his desire for Alex kept getting the best of him. He even tried to find a solution for Ichabod's damnation, nothing much, not with the Horseman of Death. He did venture into Hell with the heroes, despite being seasick in the Charon en route to Limbo.
In Lust, his desire for Alex consumed him greatly, even though it was a demon in disguise, making him permanent to Hell, till Gavin, Lara, Alex and Jenny knocked him out along with Diana. By Gavin and Jenny defeated Cleopatra, Jake came to and continued on with them, despite getting paranoid at times. He did assist on fighting off the damned like Hawley, Katrina, Benedict, and Jobe, till Ichabod escorted them out of Hell as Lucifer escaped! He reunited with the Freemason and learnt of the Seven Vials/Woes. He even teamed with Alex as they fought off Pestilence one last time, even though Jenny finished him with the Holy Cross and holy grenades. He finally fell to Lucifer, then got revived and encouraged by Missy as he fought off Lucifer and restored the world. He said goodbye to her, and he still was an archivist to the Vault.

Jake hung out with the team, though it was implied he goes on dates with Alex, even proposed!
Trivia[]
- Jake's tribal pseudonym given by Chief Turgado was Brainy Bear. His skin's similar to a bear, and as an archivist he was always busy, tireless and a complete nerd. Also, he seems to be protective like one especially to Alex, even against the Satanists during The Demon from within.
