Jeremy Crane is a main character and the son of Ichabod and Katrina Crane. He was born almost a year after Ichabod battled Abraham Van Brunt; the Horseman of Death during the Revolutionary War. He eventually became War, the Second of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse while hiding under the pretense that he is the Sin Eater with the name Henry Parrish, who had broken the blood bond between his father and Abraham.
The Greenhorn's Gamble[]
Inspired by the Season 2 premiere, This is War, he was determined to raise Moloch from Purgatory by finding the missing key leading to it. After he caused the horrific accidents/betrayals, he spotted Gavin who had no idea who he was! He hid himself beside the toppled van, and as he looked again the creepy old man was gone. He did read Jenny's sins, as she was the one who knew where the siget was; fortunately, it wasn't underneath the Franklin statue, but rather the clock and discovered by her and Ichabod!
Moloch was pissed off he failed to find it first and do his part, although the Demon King awarded him the avatar of War, and only his mind shall control it!
Test of Wills[]
He disguised himself as an Onondaga chieftain and brainwashed the entire tribe as his miniature army for the Apocalypse. After reading Gavin's sins, from the sudden encounter prior, he found out his weakness. He then hypnotized Gavin utilizing the drums and drew him away from the Witnesses who were invited to the reservation. He anointed him as the Battle Hawk of Darkness and persuaded him to kill them! He almost did, till he was cornered by Abbie's Glock. He informed his master of the incident, then he enlisted him to provide the tribe with the Blood of War, making the hold permanent as the moon reached its peak. He also captured Chief Turgado, disabling his guidance over his people. As the Witnesses were abducted, the chief challenged him to a duel as a way to decide his tribe's fate; luckily, he was comatose after Ichabod shot him with a dart soaked in the berry juice as a reversal to his spell!
A Saving Grace[]
During his brain fever, Ichabod noticed fragments of him as a demon, with Katrina, as he was being tortured in Hell!
Sleepy Hollow, the Missing Episodes[]
After Hawley and Pines were defeated, Henry and the Horsemen awakened, and he declared to begin his reign of terror. The Rapture began with the blood moon, and by the time the Onondagas left their village, Chief Falcolor stayed, and he was able to find and manipulate Gavin again! He became the Battle Hawk of Darkness again, incapacitating Falcolor and fighting Ichabod with him commandeering Gavin! He was then intervened by one of the distant hawks owned by the tribe and attacked War, only to be killed easily; however, the cloth was covering the Holy Cross! Gavin made contact, thinking it was a weapon, and it healed his thrall. Noticing this, Henry grew terrified by the holy might as Gavin wielded it, before he disappeared!
Before the fateful duel, Henry, at the Sleepy Hollow church, was terrifying the stragglers, saying the Witnesses are known as the Destroyers and are destined to wreak havoc! That all their heroism has been a lie, acting as the martyr! Ichabod was facing off against Death and Henry ambushed him, murdering him at the tomb at the end of the snake lake! He expedited the apocalypse by damning his dad's soul and blew the Horn that Donnie was ordered to find, only to kill him! As the rest of Team Witness ventured to Hell, there was no safety net as the world got destroyed!
Jeremy dueling with Gavin using the Sword of Methuselah against the Purgatory Sword
Jeremy was one of the shades on forcing Ichabod to swallow the Seeds of Doubt, making him as a loyal servant to Lucifer. During the aftermath, he was informed by Logan that Ichabod and Team Witness left Hell, only for him to suffer once more. There was a rematch against War, the first duel, and Gavin was enraged on cutting him into ribbons, even remembering strategies on never being vulnerable on their last stand before Moloch rose! He was doing well inflicting damage onto him, till Jeremy brainwashed him yet again and to use the Delilah's Dagger to slew Ichabod! Fortunately, it was a trick, as Gavin stabbed thru Henry's War avatar, grabbed his flaming sword, then hesitated and ordered Jenny to lift his spirit! She did with the Holy Cross as she and Gavin persuaded Henry to break his shell, and his mom was waiting; he figured it was something his dad wanted, as peace was the opposite of War!
The Tribal Ceremony[]
While Ikran usually despises War/Jeremy, she did tend to add him to the first Tribal Ceremony as he instructed his disciple, the Battle Hawk of Darkness, as he led him to beat on the timpani.
