Kaldea Orchid is a character from The Bouncer.
A beautiful woman who holds within her a great sorrow. She is the only one who truly understands Dauragon, and is always by his side.
Kaldea Orchid is an old friend and romantic interest of Sion Barzahd. She met Sion when they were young teenagers, coming across him one day training. She though it looked like fun, but told Sion she could not train herself as she got sick easily. The pair bonded and became friends after that day.
Years later, Sion would tell Kaldea of Wong's disappearance. Kaldea suggested he go to the police as Wong could have been in an accident, but Sion doesn't believe Wong would die that way.
Kaldea eventually found a job at the Mikado group. To celebrate, Sion bought her a pendant as a gift, which Kaldea would come to treasure. Sadly, their relationship would come to an end when Sion was told by Kaldea's parents that she died in an explosion at Mikado. Sion would enter a severe depression after her death, becoming very closed off from everyone around him. He fell into a downward spiral of fighting people on the streets, even wanting people to kill him to end his suffering due to his grief over Kaldea's death. However, Sion would eventually meet Volt and become a Bouncer at the bar Fate, regaining a sense of himself again.
During the night when Dominique was kidnapped by Mikado's forces, Sion, Volt & Kou encounter an enigmatic Black Panther, that seems to be stalking them. At the Crystal Dome, a mysterious woman plays the piano as Dauragon speaks with Wong. She then transforms into the panther and joins Dauragon's side as he fights Sion, Volt and Kou. Although the three manage to defeat Dauragon and the panther, Dauragon is quick to drop them down a trap door. He then speaks with the panther about his past with Domanique. The panther then reverts back to her human form to comfort Dauragon.
During Sion's solo escape from captivity, He finds a computer containing information on Mikado's experiments. He discovers information on Kaldea, who was used in a "Bionoid" experiment. However, some of Mikado's special forces burst into the room and destroy the computer before Sion can find any more information.
During his escape, Sion comes across the panther once again. This time, the panther transforms to her human form during the fight. Sion is able to beat her, and the woman notes that he doesn't recognize her. Sion is taken aback, but the woman transforms into a panther again and leaves.
When Sion, Kou and Volt infiltrate the Galeos to save Dominique, the panther woman confronts them again. If Sion defeats her, she will reveal to him who she truly is - Kaldea.
The Mikado Group faked her death and used her as a subject in their bionoid experiments, which Dauragon hoped would provide them with a way to make Dominique more human. As a result, Kaldea gained the ability to shift between her human form and the form of a black panther at will. As a side effect, Kaldea's body aged so that Sion had trouble recognizing her at first.

The Bouncer tetralogy[]
Kaldea was first seen playing on a piano at the Crsytal Dome's top floor while Sion recognized a familiar sorrowful tune. She then turned into a panther as she sensed intruders, then dealt with the main 3 Bouncers while assisting Dauragon. She was defeated but not until she turned into a human as the madman recalled his tragic past with his sister. He then ordered her to carry Dominique to the executive floor as he operated the Galeos.
She was seen again as Sion and Ayame came onto a private room. In her panther state, she materialized inside the door to unlock it, where they got secret intel of the Mikado Group. She was even mentioned on the laptop she was enlisted as an experiment on cloning, turning her into a hybrid, and made her age 10 years! She was seen again ambushing the duo just before they got to Dominique, although in her human form she couldn't get Sion to recognize her.
She was finally seen inside the Galeos passageway just before the control room, and she was defeated by the 3 Bouncers again seamlessly. She confessed Sion must stop Dauragon at all costs, and he finally recognized her as the girlfriend he lost a couple years ago. The massive explosion after Kaldea's employment was a ploy to erase her existence, of being a sort of tragic accident, so that Dauragon should experiment on her using bionoid technology to make Dominique whole. She pities him as a lonely man, but not before she was killed by a chain stabbed at the back!!
By the time Dauragon was beaten, Sion wished her to rest in peace. She was also seen again in his dream as her younger self, as well as some meditation sessions, and assured Sion he must stay strong and care for Dominique. Her encouragement helped Sion pull thru and overcome his doppelganger, even overpowering his dark Kamehameha Wave with his!
