King Dodongo is the second Boss in Ocarina of Time. Link must defeat King Dodongo in order to obtain the Goron's Ruby from Darunia.

King Dodngo was only seen at the bowels of the cavern, where Link, Zelda II, and her Pokémon had to defeat him; as he was always reproducing hatchers for the Dodongos. His rolling was countered by the Pokémon's own Rollouts to have him roll the other direction in order to avoid crushing Link and the Trainer. It was pretty easy as they had chances to throw in Bombs into his large maw before he should let out a large volley of flame.
Of course, Darunia gifted the heroes the Goron's Ruby and made them sworn siblings as the Gorons were free to roam Dodongo's Cavern for their rocks.
