King Zora is a recurring character in The Legend of Zelda series. He is the leader of the Zora race. Aside from being known as King Zora XVI, he's also known as Zora De Bon XVI.
Ikran's Lost OoT/Pokémon crossover[]
King Zora was first seen at his throne room worrying about the whereabouts of his daughter, Ruto. After Link found a letter in a Bottle, written by her, he showed it to the paranoid Zora who was shocked she'd been swallowed by their deity, Jabu Jabu. As the Royal Family's messengers, he begged for Link and Zelda II to save her. Though...he took a solid minute moving his huge, blubbery bosom out of the way leading to Zora's Fountain.
He was really irritated when they told him of Ruto's fishy and immature affairs attempting to save her mom's engagement ring and giving the heroes an unbearable time.
Seven years later, he was frozen stiff inside a sheet of red ice, and it was proven not to be melted until Link discovered the Blue Fire in the Ice Cavern. With it, he was able to save him, after Zelda II's Ice-Types, and he gave him and the Trainer a breathable Zora Tunic which was vital investigating the Water Temple. Contrary to the game, the Zora did survive after they were free from their imprisonment.
The Lost Legend of Namira[]
While Link and Zelda II were looking for clues of the Gerudos' involvement with Namira, he said that they give him chills like the arctic air. He warned them, specifically Link, that he mustn't be persuaded by the corrupt goddess and her followers.
Imprisonment War[]

King Zora mutated in A Link to the Past
It seemed that the ruler of the Zoras was mutated after Agahnim polluted Hyrule's water supply. Although he had a more monstrous appearance, he had a friendlier side than the rest of his aggressive clan. He then gifted Link the flippers allowing him to swim!
