The King of Fabul rules the Kingdom of Fabul in Final Fantasy IV, known for housing the Crystal of Air. The king was once a great monk before taking the throne. In Final Fantasy IV: The After Years he is known as the Duke Consort.
Trials of a King/Conquest of the Blue Planet[]
He hasn't done much in both stories. Just hung around in the background in the first story as Cecil arrived to Fabul. He also wished him luck when the Paladin headed to Mt. Ordeals.
In the second story, he and Yang were at the Monks' and Injukhals' mercy as the latter brainwashed the former which were beating him and Yang to a bloody pulp. Cecil came to his aide and healed him as soon as the Monks were incapacitated. He accepted and stayed at Fabul to keep a keen eye over the civilians.
