Leo Dooley is the second & current Green Hippo Ranger, the 6th Ranger of Power Rangers Gear Beasts. He became the Green Hippo Ranger after Ben Tolbert was badly injured & unable to fight.
He is an active Gear Beast Ranger, unlike his alternate, Leo Dooley-Davenport, who serves solely as the mission specialist of the Lab Rats.
Character History[]
Leo is a teenage orphan who, after being saved by the Gear Beast Rangers during an attack, became a huge fan of them. Although Donald Davenport wasn't sure about Leo when he found out the Rangers' identities, he & the other Rangers began to trust Leo & make him an official employee at the Davenport Animal Biology Physics Corporation.
When Ben Tolbert was badly injured during a battle & thus unable to fight, he passed his powers down to Leo after being persuaded by his main universe counterpart. Although the other Rangers & Lab Rats reminded him of his safety, not wanting him to get hurt, Leo proved himself to be a strong & valiant fighter. Afterwards, Donald decided to adopt Leo into the family.

- Unlike his predecessor, who doesn't have a main universe counterpart, Leo's main universe counterpart is indeed Leo Dooley-Davenport.
- He is the second Green Ranger to succeed a former; the first being Carlos Vallerte (Green Turbo Ranger II), who succeeded Adam Park.
- He's also the first Sixth Ranger to succeed a former since Mike Corbett (Magna Defender II) from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.
- He is the third Green Ranger to be African-American; the first being Damon Henderson (Galaxy Green) from Lost Galaxy, & the second being Joel Rawlings (Green Lightspeed Ranger) from Lightspeed Rescue.
