Little Guy, aka Xiaojiāhuo, is the name of Kung Lao's signature white rabbit in Ikran's MK Khronology. The rodent existed since Mortal Kombat II, during the events of the second Mortal Kombat tournament, in which Kung Lao takes out of his Razor-Rimmed Hat during his own Friendship. According to his intro with Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat 11, he only shows his rabbit with friends; however, in Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, he takes him out during a couple gory Fatalities, such as using its incisors to tear enemies asunder, or when he's used as a whacking tool!
In Ikran's Khronology, he's often a pet and companion to Kung Lao no matter where he is. He often remains in his hat, but it seems he's summoned, or rather teleported, into it nearly the same way Lao transports himself. He's hardly seen in the series other than the aforementioned Fatalities.
That was until her Side Stories in which he often is quiet and keeps to himself whether around family or otherwise. He still remains as a family pet once Aiko moved into the Kottage. But it wasn't until Christmas of 1998 in which Little Guy's name was revealed, and he became fast friends and a confidant to a baby capybara who Lao named Jehn. He'd often play and sleep with her, even share his vegetables or just make her feel at home.
Lao and Aiko[]
Jehn was frolicking with Little Guy as the future couple brainstormed their invitees for the wedding; they even wondered if Kiba shall be the pet sitter while their family'd be away.
Appearances[]
- Bunny Trick (Mortal Kombat II)
- Friendly Rabbit (MK: Shaolin Monks)
- Unfriendly Rabbit (MK: Shaolin Monks)
Trivia[]
- It wasn't until the second holiday episode in the Side Stories that the rabbit has an official name, Little Guy, and his Mandarin name, Xiaojiāhuo.
- Kung Lao seemed to be born in the Year of the Dragon (1964), ironic since he owns a rabbit.
- Aiko shares the Year of the Rabbit, as she was born in 1987, before she was sent 16 years into the past from her dystopian future in 2008.
- It's possible Kung Jin shares the same year of the rabbit.
