A member of the Galaxy Mobile Platoon. Lucy Liberty is a fan of F-Zero and is knowledgeable about the machines. When she and her friends were on a bus to the next race on Planet Nintae in Episode 2, a gang showed up to attack, but Rick Wheeler and Captain Falcon saved the day. It was after this event and the race that Lucy announced to Rick that she was joining the Platoon.
She would officially be recognized for her skills in Episode 3, on the planet Clifoto.
She then became Dr. Clash's apprentice but also developed a crush on Rick/Ryu.
Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
Lucy was the second person to be enlisted in the Mobile Task Force, not the last; Tinsel was! She seems to be the team's heart, always trying to pacify intense situations, such as when tempers flare between Rick and Jack. She also became one of Tinsel's close friends. Her claim to fame, after she was chosen, was during the Outer Space course, in A Trilogy of Tension. After the track was bombarded by meteors, valiantly defended by Tinsel's Duel Monsters, she won by default after 7 laps while the race was cancelled due to severe track damage! Sadly...this was the only time she'd win one.
Not much has happened concerning her, but she, along with the team, had wound up missing. It was in a Mute City race as she was awakened and brainwashed by Black Shadow and teamed up with Blood Falcon using her madeover machine, the Pallid Pony. Rick, Tinsel and Draq, winning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively, took both pilots out, and rendered her comatose. She recovered at a hospital, even reuniting with Jack and her love interest, Leon! He was so emotional to see her, and she was never afraid as he confessed his feelings to her! After Clash's violent death in another race, she deeply mourned for him, though she recovered thanks to a date with the dog! Since then, she had been sitting every race out, though stayed as a promising mechanic much like her mentor! Even developing the Dragon Bird EX with Clank, EAD and Gazelle.
She was always the somber one as the team was coming together, even when she boarded the Galaxy Runner. She also wanted to make over Miss Killer's corpse with Jody as they retrieved it via Clank using a tractor beam. Upon Deathborn's defeat, Yami wanted Lucy along with the other mechanics to carry on Clash's legacy. She has been a promising one ever since. She was also invited to Tinsel and Rick's wedding as a bridesmaid, always happy to pitch in, even while shopping for style! Even attending the bachelorette party at the Rainy Day Spa and Salon in Port Town or applying styles to Tinsel and Rick before the wedding. She also took the lucky man to the Mute City Knight League course!
Noticeably, her posse is no longer with her; possibly since they couldn't accept her and Leon's relationship.

Trivia[]
- Her first name and design are seemingly a reference to "Lucy Hare" a character from Star Fox Command. They also share the same tomboyish demeanor and tinkering aptitude. Aside from being similar to the Statue of Liberty and Tails, likely.
- The Pallid Pony was made up by Ikran. This was actually inspired by the blanch Horse of Death from the Sleepy Hollow TV series, though smaller to suit her machine, and Pallid meaning weak and grey.
- She has been added as one of Ikran's favorite Black Characters in Video Games, contrary to Kate Alen. Sorry, Berrywatterson. It was implied there that she has a similar dynamic as a talented apprentice and engineer to Clash, much like Cid and Luca in Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
