The Animated Tales of Harry Potter (魔法少年ハリー・ポッター, Mahō Shōnen Harī Pottā, or "Magical Boy Harry Potter") is a fanfiction anime by LDEJRuff based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter book series. It focuses on the titular character and his friends as they go on amazing adventures, learn about magic at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and try to avoid the dark lord Voldemort.

Each season of the series will be based on a specific book of the series, and will have thirteen episodes, except for the final season, being the length of two seasons (twenty-six episodes).
Book One: The Sorcerer's Stone (賢者の石, Kenja no Ishi, or "The Philosopher's Stone")[]
The first season of the series focuses on Harry meeting new friends, going to school for the first time, and his first encounter with Lord Voldemort.
Book Two: The Chamber of Secrets (秘密の部屋, Himitsu no Heya, or "The Secret Room")[]
The second season deals with Harry finding a fifty-year-old journal belonging to someone named Tom Marvolo Riddle (who would later be revealed as the dark lord himself).
Book Three: The Prisoner of Azkaban (アズカバンの囚人, Azukaban no Shūjin)[]
The third season deals with Harry and his friends learning about his godfather, Sirius Black, escaping Azkaban prison after being accused of mass murder.
Book Four: The Goblet of Fire (炎のゴブレット, Honoo no Goburetto, or "The Blazing Goblet")[]
Season four deals with Harry competing at the Triwizard Tournament with three other wizards/witches from other schools. Although Harry was put in the Triwizard Tournament, he hasn't submitted his own name into the goblet.
Book Five: The Order of the Phoenix (不死鳥の騎士団, Fushichō no Kishi Dan, or "Knights of the Phoenix")[]
Season five deals with Harry, already suspected of using magic in the non-magical Muggle world, attending the re-organized titular order to clear his good name.
Book Six: The Half-Blood Prince (謎のプリンス, Nazo no Purinsu, or "The Mysterious Prince")[]
In this season, Harry, accompanied by Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, goes on a quest to recover a Horcrux. Harry also discovers another journal, originally belonging to someone known as the Half-Blood Prince.
Book Seven: The Deathly Hallows (死の秘宝, Shi no Hihō, or "The Treasure of Death")[]
The final season of the series deals with Harry and his friends defending the magical world from the Death Eaters and Lord Voldemort by finding three mystical sacred objects and the remaning Horcruxes, rather than attend school.
