Marine the Raccoon is a supporting character in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise. She is a 7-year-old anthropomorphic raccoon of Southern Island, and Sonic and Tails' first ally when they are transported into the home dimension of Blaze the Cat. She dreams to be a swashbuckling sea captain one day, and insists on treating Sonic, Tails, and even Blaze as her "crew" throughout the game.
In the Archie Comics, Marine the Raccoon is a supporting character in in the Archie comics and spin-offs Sonic the Hedgehog. She is a hyperactive mobian raccoon and sailor, and a resident of Seagull Island in the Sol Zone. A lover of excitement and constantly seeking adventures, she is a friend of Blaze the Cat, Sonic the Hedgehog, Tails, and other allies of the pair from Sonic's World.
