Mew is a Legendary Pokémon existing in Generation I. It was also a debut to the Mythical Pokémon.
In one fanfic...[]
While it is technically a wild Pokémon, it is often affiliated with Justin the Dog and serves as his Pokémon when necessary.
History[]
At some point, Justin came across Mew accidentally, while it was injured. Justin nursed Mew back to health and then let it free. However, Mew wanted to stay with Justin, and stole a Poké Ball from a Poke Mart, so it could be Justin's Pokémon. However, Justin didn't feel right about keeping Mew as his own Pokémon, so he refused. However, he did agree to let Mew stay with him and visit whenever it wanted, and Mew acts as Justin's Pokémon in trainer battles.
Personality[]
Mew has an innocent yet mischievous personality. It is extremely curious and won't hesitate to investigate something it finds amusing. Mew has a free spirit, and travels around the entire world exploring, sometimes causing a bit of mischief by pulling pranks. Despite its "cute" personality, Mew is quite ruthless in battle, not hesitating to go all-out against opponents, and use whatever means necessary to come out victorious.
Abilities[]
Being a legendary Pokémon, Mew is quite powerful, despite its small size and cute appearance. It is extremely fast and surprisingly strong, able to lift small or medium-sized boulders without psychic powers. However, it's true strength lies in it's numerous powers, psychic or otherwise. Mew is capable of long-term flight at high speeds, transforming itself, cloaking, and is able to form barriers of psychic energy around itself and others. Due to its small size and great speed, Mew is also incredibly evasive, and very difficult to hit.
The ReBoot Multiuniverse[]
She has made several appearances in the multiuniverse. For instance, she was mentioned a few times as Akari was being taken in by her mentor, Mewtwo, and living out on the Johto Frontier. Also, like Mewtwo, she hasn't been any of the Pokémon she actually caught, though Mewtwo was an exception at one point... She hasn't really gotten her time to shine, and by the Web World Wars, she was taken in by Samus in her gunship. She seemed to be an awesome ally to her and Bob while trekking thru Zebes and defeating the space pirates. She still worked alongside Mewtwo, even when the System was crashing. And she was a valuable Pokémon, as she was one of those who fought against Daemon directly and saved Mewtwo from flying uncontrollably.
She also was one of the Pokémon Akari reunited with as she continued her journeys thru Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos; even while fighting Megabyte and Gnosis.
Ikran's Lost OoT/Pokémon crossover[]
Mew was hardly seen, but along with Mewtwo, Zelda II, and her Pokémon, they'd been mysteriously transported from the Johto frontier to Hyrule. It wasn't until Link was a child that he encountered her along with various Psychic and Electric-Types at the Gerudo Valley; they assisted him in the Spirit Temple in both eras. She soon became one of Rauru's guardians and he'd occasionally switch with her and Mewtwo.
Trivia[]
