Minotaur is a humanoid-animal monster and the alias used by washed-up Russian pro-wrestler Sergei Nubrokofiev. He appears in The Quest for Beasts episode Saving Grace, which aired on October 17, 2000. He is voiced by Jim Cummings.
Biography[]
Sergei Nubrokofiev was born in Moscow, Russia, possibly during the 1940s. During his teenage years, he trained to become a sportsman and later went on to become a professional wrestler. Over his career, he won several fights and was nicknamed "The Moscow Marauder". After his career ended, Sergei began looking for ways to hold on to his erstwhile glory, until he came across scientist Dr. Jon Small and used bull DNA on himself; this was intended to increase his strength, but the plan backfired and turned him into a Minotaur.
Appearance and personality[]
In his human form, Sergei is a man with fair skin, brown hair and a goatee, brown eyes and a solid, muscular build. He dresses in a red Spandex suit and brown boots. In his Minotaur form, he retains his outfit, but torn around the edges, possibly to reflect his savage nature. His head is that of a bull with glowing golden eyes, and he also has a bull's legs and hindquarters, but his torso remains human. While Sergei is not a truly villainous individual, his motives are purely influenced by greed.
