Moogle

Moogle is a recurring race in the Final Fantasy series. They first appeared in Final Fantasy III and have appeared in some capacity in every main series game since, with the exception of Final Fantasy IV.

The importance of Moogles to the plot varies, ranging from playable characters to cameos. Several—such as Mog, Stiltzkin, Artemicion and Montblanc—have made repeated appearances. Moogles occasionally appear as a summoned monster, usually to grant beneficial effects to the party.

Moogles are one of the Final Fantasy series's mascots, alongside Chocobos and Cactuars. They have appeared in numerous merchandises, and dolls of them appear in the games themselves, commonly in the games set in a more realistic environment where Moogles do not appear as a race. They also make guest appearances in other media.

Body of Dark, Heart of Light[]

There was a Moogle, disguised from Cid the Lufaine, in Dissidia as he greeted Cecil while he was looking for Kuja. The Moogle took Cecil in to rest for the night before he left the next morning; he seems to be neutral in the eternal conflict, though, and gifts each warrior Summonstones and sundries.
