Prologue: Gathering[]
Everyone was gathered for another season of this show they're having.
Many couldn't wait to see even more of alternate choices.
Jake and Ellie were now acting like best friends and even surrogate siblings again.
Aiden and Riya made amends and also became this kind of duo, the latter promising to make good choices.
However, Hunter and Tess still haven't forgave Ally, who keeps refusing to repent.
Ashley was making sure to keep Jake safe from Ally, who she now sees as a monster.
With encouragement, Tom apologized to Jake and asked him out, which Jake slowly accepted and yet he was happy now.
Nonetheless, they decided to explore it.
Chapter 1: What If Dave Sued Katie?[]
When everyone saw the title, all comic readers saw this one coming.
However, Dave wondered why he didn't think of doing that, knowing that he can legally do that.
Despite this, Katie thought that the court would take her side.
Nonetheless, they decided to see this.
(Before we begin, many fans of the Kick Ass movie might've also read the comics, although the comics' universe is pretty bad.)
Everyone nodded at that, having also read the comics and agreeing that it was sadly bad.
Dave still envies his film self for having such a great life and ending.
Damon respects his film self for telling the truth about his origin story.
(However, we all know that even the 1st part had a bad ending due to the alter-ego only ruining Dave's life even more and how his former crush Katie still hates him for lying about being gay, which was caused by him being attacked by 2 thugs he was stopping and removing his costume in order to avoid letting his hero life be known.)
Everyone rolled their eyes at this, hating that toxic brat.
(Despite this, him lying about being gay was actually understandable as she was already mean and nasty towards him before that, even the fact that she saw him as a stalker and was also the one who believed the false rumor in the 1st place.)
"Seriously, how the heck did you even believe that in the 1st place?" asked an annoyed BrandonKR.
Katie noticed the annoyed looks and didn't bother to answer that, starting to slowly see how stupid that was.
(Even worse of all, what she and her friends did to him was way too far such as abusive messages and videos of her having oral sex with her boyfriend Carl, which are both cyberbullying and sexual harassment.)
Everyone glared at Katie in disgust for acting like that.
However, Dave's friends and family were the most ones angry at her for this.
(Fortunately, this chapter will show you What If Dave Sued Katie?)
"WHAT?!" yelled a shocked Katie.
"It's true, I'm suing you for doing all of that to me." said a glaring Dave.
His friends and family angrily agreed to sue her.
(In this chapter, we start it off in Dave's room, where he's still recovering from the beatdown that Carl gave him.)
"And before you ask, Katie had Carl beat Dave up after the certain reveal." said a glaring BrandonKR.
Everyone glared at Katie and Carl even more for doing that.
However, James now realized why Dave came home in bruises.
(However, he's more upset to see the abusive messages and disgusting videos sent to him, especially with the fact that we should probably not view them because they might be that horrible.)
Everyone was indeed worried about even reading them or seeing them.
"I don't think we want to know what those brats wrote." said a worried Jake, much to everyone's agreement.
(Suddenly, Dave's dad James enters the room but notices his son's depressed state and when Dave notices, he shows his father what's going on and let's just say that James is beyond pissed at how those monsters are treating his son.)
"Damn right, I'm beyond pissed at this, those little bastards are harming my son." said an angry James.
"But sir, your son lied to me about being gay just to get close to me." said an annoyed Katie.
"Young lady, my son might've only lied just so you can stop being downright vile and cruel to him, what you're doing to him is way worse than his lie." said an angry James.
"Trust me, you don't want mess with an angry father." said a serious BrandonKR.
Katie gulped and wondered how bad it could be.
(Despite this, Dave confesses to why this is happening and apologizes for it but James isn't mad at him and actually starts to see why his son lied about being gay in the 1st place, especially with how nasty and horrible Katie was.)
"My son might've lied about being gay but I can see why since you're just downright awful to him." said a glaring James.
"He's right, I'm sorry for the lie but you have no excuse for putting me though this." said an also glaring Dave.
"Dave's right, it's your own fault for believing that rumor in the 1st place." said an agreeing Mindy.
"Seriously, there's no way to even consider that rumor as true at all." said an annoyed BrandonKR, trying to calm down.
Katie was upset from everyone siding against her.
Even the popular crowd were annoyed with her.
(Even more, he has a feeling why Dave came home with bruises on him and Dave confirms that it's because Katie had Carl beat him up after he finally told her the truth, which angers James at how they resorted to that.)
"Seriously, he at least confessed what he did, just leave him alone." said a glaring James.
Katie scoffed rudely at that, still refusing to give him the time of day.
(After comforting Dave some more, he then decides to call an available lawyer to help sue those brats for this, shocking Dave that they can sue the group and James explains that what those brats did was illegal.)
"It's true, they committed assault, threats, and even sexual harassment." said a nodding BrandonKR.
Katie was shocked to hear that she could be sued for this.
(Upon realizing that he can just sue those jerks, he nearly facepalms but decides to not do so and agrees to sue them, although he asks not to sue her parents because he gets along with them and James reluctantly agrees to it.)
"I don't blame Dave because they might be unaware of their daughter's behavior." said an understanding BrandonKR.
The Deauxma couple were indeed very appalled by their daughter's awful behavior.
(The next day, he did his best to ignore Katie and his friends' abuse towards him, even being calmed down by his friends Marty, Todd, and Shane as they were already informed of the lawsuit and they'll do their best to help him sue her in court.)
Everyone was enraged by how those brats are acting.
"Those little-" said an angry James only to be calmed down by BrandonKR.
"Don't worry, they'll get what's coming to him." said a sighing BrandonKR.
Dave just sighed at this and out his face in his hands.
Mindy was beyond pissed at this, so was her mother and step-father.
However, Katie was smug about this.
(Fortunately, a man in a fake teacher's clothing shows up and turns out to be Dale Denton, serving Katie a subpoena and she obviously freaks out at this while Dave and his friends laugh at hearing Dale also say his famous "You've been served.")
"And just like he said, you've been served." said a grinning BrandonKR, giving it to her.
"That bastard should get a real life." said an annoyed Katie.
"Your fault for going against the law." said a smirking Dave.
"Yeah, you've been served, bitch." said an also smirking Mindy.
James smirked smugly at this.
However, Dave's friends laughed at what Mindy said.
(Of course, she and her friends angrily glared at Dave but instead of being scared of them, he just smirked and flipped them off as the school decides to attend the court and see how the trial goes since this is a school matter.)
"That's true, this is a school matter that is involving the law." said a shrugging Dave.
"Yeah, the whole school is invited to see the trial." said a nodding BrandonKR.
"Damn, it seems to have gotten attention as well." said a shocked Marty.
"Well, what she and her friends did was very serious." said a shrugging Todd.
"Still, looks like they're finally punishing her." said a satisfied Mindy.
Katie and her friends paled in fear.
(In court, Dave was all dressed up in a nice-looking suit and he had the lawyer known as Bart Morlock, who is well aware of being seen as a parody of Matt Murdock but is still considered a great lawyer.)
Bart did arrive and shook hands with Dave.
"Don't worry, I'll be able to help you out." said a smiling Bart.
"Thank you, Mr. Morlock." said a grateful Dave.
"And nice suit, Dave." said a smirking Mindy.
"Thanks, I always keep it around and I fortunately wash it." said a grinning Dave.
However, Katie paled at this, having a feeling that this trial is a lost one.
(Once they enter, Katie and her friends nearly looked smug but upon seeing Bart, they paled in fear and for good reason because this lawyer was an unstoppable man who always brings true justice in the name of law and order.)
Everyone was now curious about this guy.
Bart decided to let them know about it.
(You see, he was sadly the past of victim of an injustice on his family due to corruption but when he grew up and practiced law, he gave himself an ability to notice any wrongdoings going on and to expose the truth to bring true justice.)
Everyone was sympathetic towards his motive for wanting justice.
Bart still vow to always have the truth.
(Anyways, Katie and her friends are being defended by a prosecutor known as Gervis Kent, who is also a presumed parody of Harvey Dent but is sadly corrupt and only in the job for money and power.)
Everyone glared at Kent, who arrived and was pompous.
However, Bart glared at him the most.
(Of course, Bart glared at him in hatred and for good reason because Gervis Kent has always used illegal means to get what he wanted and will no doubt be willing to do that to Dave for a stupid win.)
Everyone was hating that man even more.
All lawyers in the room were very disappointed in the man.
(As for the judge, he's still a very neutral but also still very fair judge named Robert McLane, who has been known for always staying neutral until he can decide which side is the right now.)
"I have no problem with that." said a nodding Dave.
"That's good to hear because all judges need to be neutral until the verdict is decided." said a satisfied Bart.
(Nonetheless, the court was now in session and both sides just try to behave in court, knowing that the judge won't tolerate misbehavior at all.)
Chapter 2: What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest?[]
When everyone read the title, they knew what it was about.
Saya was still upset about the betrayal, wishing she had known.
T.V. Tropes[]
- Abusive Parents: Just like the 1st season, there's going to be this:
- What If an Abusive Husband Had a Criminal Record?: Just like the video, the titular villain turned into this trope because of his son having asthma and blaming his wife for this due to looking down on this kind of family as weakness, even now being revealed as a sadistic murderer who had killed his previous children for this reason and ditched the depressed wives after.
- More coming soon.
- Adaptational Heroism: Some characters are now this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejected His Past: Unlike the canon timeline, Dan is horrified by his criminal past and chooses to be a better person now while even risking his life to save an innocent person and when his past is exposed, he just confesses to it in great remorse and only took his life out of guilt for it along with how his family felt about it.
- What If Takeda Rejected Rin: Just like the above, Takeda chooses to not be a hypocrite about cheating and even remains faithful to Megumi while even kindly talking things out with her and feeling remorse for suspecting her of cheating to the point of not getting mad at her for her plans but instead kindly understanding them and agreeing to give her a 2nd chance via helping her sue his brother for bothering her and even doing the same to Rin for trying to seduce him.
- More coming soon.
- Adaptational Jerkass: Some characters either good or bad are still this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejected His Past: While Dialla and Mickey have every right to not trust Dan, they are still this to him and never once try to give him a chance to prove his redemption, even causing him to take his own life away via exposing his past but they fortunately stop this when his daughter angrily calls them out on it and exposes their past as well.
- What If Mina Survived Her Fall: While the movie already shows her as having an affair with Charlie, she is now revealed to have done this even before the events and that the trip was originally a plan to spend more time with him but the last night she had with Josh in their bedroom before the trip ended up making her start to regret the affair and even wanting to end it with Charlie, which she still thinks that she still chose to try and hide the affair instead of confessing to it.
- What If Takeda Rejected Rin: Although she has a reason to be upset with him for suspecting her, Megumi's plan to make him cheat still comes across as very horrible to do and even she realizes how selfish that is to the point of apologizing as well for nearly ruining his life just to get away from his family, despite that he doesn't blame her and even forgives her for it.
- What If Harold Slipped Off: While she did try to save him and stood up for him after his death, Bridgette claims herself to have been this due to indeed laughing at the pranks and even sometimes taking part in them, which is why she is the most upset by this and enraged by how the others didn't care at all.
- Sadly, she is right that the others were also in on this and shockingly don't care about what happened to Harold but instead have the nerve to selfishly blame him for not cleaning up after himself and are only more concerned about getting sued in court, which Bridgette has every right to scold them for because what Harold went through was way too far and downright inhumane.
- More coming soon.
- Adaptational Nice Guy: Some chapters will cause this to happen:
- More coming soon.
- Anti-Hero: Some people are this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejected His Past: Since he is now horrified by his past and rejects it, he ends up becoming a better person that saves someone's life out of genuine desire for redemption and even becomes a loving husband and father who only late takes his own life out of guilt for his past crimes and how they affect those around him, which makes everyone now feel bad for him.
- What If Tim Stayed Oblivious: While her intentions are very heroic since she's stopping an evil mirror, Kaylie still ends up killing her own husband and blaming the mirror for it while even harshly scolding her brother for rejecting the promise and not bothering to run after him for an apology when he tearfully leaves her, which even she herself now thinks was very extreme and her time in the mental ward helps her now realize that it was better to forget to the point that she ends up dropping this now.
- What if Mina Survived Her Fall: Despite still being an unfaithful woman who cheated on her boyfriend and tried to hide the affair, she still manages to defeat a serial killer and shows remorse for what she did to the man who loved her, even now wishing to have never cheated and doesn't even see any excuse for what she did while even never accusing him of cheating and thinking that doing it back to him would've made her a hypocrite.
- What If a Wife Exposed Her Husband's Misdeed: Just like the video, the titular character wanted to blackmail her husband into serving her as revenge for his evil plot but thanks to her new love-interest, she just chooses to sue him and the actor in court.
- What If Takeda Rejected Rin: While he didn't have an affair this time, he still didn't trust his wife and had been accusing her of an affair, which even he thinks that was horrible of him to do and he doesn't blame her for her plan.
- More coming soon.
- Bad Boss: There will be stuff like this:
- Coming soon.
- Big Bad: Just like Infinity X, the Ultra-Tails serves as this too, wanting revenge on the entire multiverse for his dark past and how no one cared about his pain but unlike Infinity X, Ultra-Tails is a Tragic Villain.
- Big Good: Since the Host is retired, the Hostess is taking his place now, even wanting to talk things with Ultra-Tails and blaming herself instead for never understanding his Freudian Excuse.
- Bittersweet Ending: There will be this:
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest: The good news is that Itsuki does survive his death, redeems himself by blowing up Fumito's transport, helps Saya escape from the island, and decides to make a team with her but the bad news is that the fake town still gets massacred and Saya might still have trust issues after this, even needing therapy after this.
- What If Tim Stayed Oblivious: While this choice caused Kaylie to now be arrested and sent to the place that Tim went to, her plan to destroy the mirror ended up working due to Tim's choice to leave and they decided to apologize to each other for what they've said and done while she's also now happy that Tim's living a better life but the only downside is that her fiancé's dead and she still has to take the blame for the mirror's actions, not that she minds since the place is nice to her.
- What If the Time-Loop Didn't Exist: Surprisingly, this Decoy Protagonist story ends like this due to the Husband still clearing his name and exposing the truth while his now Ex-Wife gets karma for what she's done and it's implied that his mother-in-law is disowning her for this but there's still a downside such as him probably having a problem moving on to a new marriage and even the Wife is still living in misery without arrest, although the Husband still didn't care and was just glad to not see her again.
- What If Matt Saved Andrew: Unlike the film, Matt fortunately calms Andrew down and talks things out with him while managing to get him some help and even angrily has Richard arrested for being an abusive parent but they both understand that Andrew still did bad things and has to turn himself in while the school he went to are left in so much guilt for they treated him and agree to asks society to please take it easy on Andrew, who thanks Matt for stopping him and plans to become a better person now.
- What If Evan Webber Was John Wick: Thanks to him being this guy, he successfully tracks those evil girls down and decides to give them a Fate Worse Than Death via just selling them to a guy that will punish them while his relationship with his family still remains strong due to them understanding what happened but he might need therapy after this, there's still public opinion on him for now, Louis is still sadly dead, and the house or art needs a long time repairing, although he just wants justice to be served.
- What If Kevin Got Hit: Fortunately, Kevin survived getting hit by the bandits' van and gets freed from the abuse he suffered at his family's hands while the bandits have a Heel-Face-Turn and decides to turn themselves in out of remorse for their crimes but the McCallister still receive karma for how they treated Kevin and are too late to change their ways, although they assure themselves that the grandparents got custody and helped the family realize how awful they were to the point that they apologized.
- What If Danish Stood Up to Dutch: Just like the remake, the Danish family finally put an end to the evil Dutch couple and avenges the past victims while managing to stop the evil operation and even saving themselves as well but they are still traumatized by this, Bjorn needs to earn his family's trust back for how he acted spineless, poor Abel is still dead now, and Agnus might be still guilt ridden for nearly getting the family destroyed over a toy, although Abel's death is still considered mercy for good reason.
- What If Pooh Forgave Christopher: Thanks to Christopher explaining to Pooh the truth about the food and the reason leaving, the latter finally realized how foolish his hatred was and decided to forgive his friend for an honest mistake but still had to turn himself in out of guilt and it will be hard time for them to make amends after all Pooh has done to him while the rest of the Crossbreeds have to take time to also change their ways, which even Pooh is left guilt ridden over a petty grudge.
- What If the Hostess Intervened: The whole series ends up having this because Ultra-Tails might be stopped due to Anti-Vincible's sacrifice, the multiverse is safe for now, the evil variants have either left or have been stopped, the anti-heroes or anti-villains achieved redemption, and even Kami finally learned to not be so naive about a villain's motive but Anti-Vincible has to sacrifice his life to stop this, the evil variants still left a lot of damage to clean up, and the Hostess might get replaced as well.
- Complete Monsters: There will be lot of this:
- What If an Abusive Husband Has a Criminal Record: The titular villain is way worse than his canon self as he's still not only an abusive r****t that hates his family for sexist reasons but he's also now a delusional murderer who has killed his past children for being born a condition and poor mothers to suffer without any remorse for it. Even worse, his backstory of being upset that his former colleague focused on his sick family instead of their hang out together just only serves as more of an explanation and just reveals that he's always been a selfish and heartless monster that didn't care for anyone but only himself and his own interests. Upon his now ex-wife getting a police friend involved, he shows no remorse for his crimes when he's about to be arrested and tries to escape to no avail while even cruelly liking the twisted idea of his son being possibly dead, which disgusts the officers that are arresting him. In court, even the jury are disgusted by his lack of remorse and are more than happy to declare him guilty while gleefully revealing that his plans have failed, which he just gets angry about and selfishly claims that he'll never forgive that stopped him. In prison, he refuses to learn a lesson from this and just chooses to selfishly blame his former family for this, even plotting to take revenge on them for his imprisonment and for ruining his stuff.
- More coming soon.
- Decoy Protagonists: There are cases of this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejects His Past: At first, the titular character seems to be this as the chapter focused on his redemption and nearly ends with his tragic suicide but the focus now goes to his daughter Lila, who decides to avenge via exposing the couple that ruined his life and made sure the Downer Ending had at least justice in it.
- What If the Time Loop Wasn't Real: Hilariously, the wife was thought to be the protagonist of this chapter and accuses her husband of murdering her father for not wanting them to have an incest relationship but then the false ending ends up revealing the 2nd half of the story and it's actually the husband who's the main protagonist, which his now ex-wife is actually the real murderer, isn't related to him at all, and even lied about being pregnant, which he ends up narrating the rest of the chapter and her downfall.
- What If Patrick Bateman Got Karma: While he's still the Villain Protagonist, the narrative still temporarily switches to his fiancé Evelyn Williams as she reveals how she now found out about his affair and his secret twisted desires while also showing to be genuinely heartbroken by his behavior towards her and vowing to make him pay for this, which the narrative switches back to him to show his downfall and how he hates his punishment now.
- More coming soon.
- Darker and Edgier: Not as bad as Marvel's What If season 1 but some of or most of the chapters usually now have a bit of Downer Endings and even a victim of one becomes the Big Bad, especially with a Freudian Excuse.
- Downer Beginning: Well, more of a Bittersweet Beginning but still the Host has been replaced by the Hostess as punishment for breaking a sacred oath to not interfere with a multiversal conflict, even if his superiors understood his reasons.
- Downer Endings: Sadly, there are still this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejects His Past: Despite the titular protagonist redeeming himself and becoming a hero, Dialla and Mickey ruin this via revealing his criminal past and turning everyone against him, causing him to tragically take his own life away but his daughter Lila still avenges him via revealing the couple to also be criminals that actually hired him and are now trying to throw away until this causes them to get this ending instead for what they did to him and yet they fortunately accept the consequences of what they did while Lila is still left without a father and yet tries to move on with her life.
- What If Mina Survived Her Fall: Despite the titular protagonist managing this titular thing and defeating the Rental Killer, she still goes through a downfall due to her affair still being exposed and yet she decides to accept karma for it because she now regrets how she betrayed Josh like that and wished to have never done that to him, even assuring us that she understands what she did wrong and agrees to pay for it but also still assures us that the killer is fortunately gone now and can't hurt anyone anymore while her parents still love her and yet still discipline her for betraying someone that loved her while she also still advises us to never do what she did to Josh because it's still not the right thing to do.
- What If Teddy Faked His Death: While this titular tactic managed to help him defeat Rebecca and stop her killing spree for good, Teddy seems to be on the verge on dying as well and it doesn't help that the viewers don't believe anything bad is happening but he just chooses to accept this and even hugs Claire's corpse as he just only tearfully apologizes for not saving her in time and the chapter ends with him most likely dying as well, although police sirens are heard and there's a chance it was due to the alarm going off and alerting them since it wasn't turned off.
- What If Patrick Bateman Got Karma: Just like the title says, Bateman might still not be a serial killer yet but he still got exposed for his infidelity and planning to be a killer, leading to him losing his engagement and job along with being dumped by his lover, disowned by his family, and even sent to a mental institute where he calls him a loser for desiring such punishment.
- What If Harold Slipped Off: Due to this titular incident happening, Harold does die because of it and this leaves this world to be in great despair over it while also driving Bridgette partially insane and causing her to take her anger out on everyone until authorities arrive and despite the culprits getting in trouble for it, she is still sent to a mental institute because of embracing her insanity and even she doesn't see anything wrong with missing Harold too much.
- What If Conner Stood Up for Jason: Sadly, we all know that Conner had no choice but to reluctantly kill his former friend in order to stop him and angrily quits the Titans for how they treated the guy while even Dick himself angrily does the same and even Blackfire disowns her sister for her callousness but Jason forgives his friend for this right choice and still assures him that he still saved a lot of lives from doing this, even encouraging him to still continue his heroism.
- What If Mark Killed Omni-Man: Because of using this titular choice to stop his dad, humanity turned against Mark and he retaliated via fighting back but ends up regretting it too late when realizing that he accidentally killed his own mother and even cried in remorse when she still expresses love for him, which even the Hostess feels bad for him and just decides to let him take Dark Anakin's place as he also understood that there's no way to fix his mess.
- What If Jason Was Saved from the Beating: While he does get saved from the beating in time, he still also gets exposed for the sabotage as well and ends up confessing to it while still having a downfall of having to do hard-work under supervision but instead of being upset about his punishment, he actually learns his lesson from it and agrees that he deserves this for what he's done while even wisely advising us to never do what he did because it's not worth it since it would lead to this ending.
- What If Shooter Was Actually Undercover: Although the events of the horror film are now fake and the titular antagonist was an undercover informant this time, it still focuses on Kelley's downfall after this reveal and yet this trope only applies to her because she still managed to lose everything due to her corrupt and illegal actions, which she sadly doesn't accept the reason for her downfall and even wondered how this went wrong for her.
- What If Anastasia Got Exposed: Thanks to Spencer exposing her as a horrible and deceitful person, Anastasia starts to lose everyone and everything that she was caring about because of what she's done as even Marissa angrily cuts ties with her and the hosts kick her out of the show but only Benji is nice to her and despite her accepting him as her only friend out of gratitude, she is still left in depression over how her life got ruined and wishes to be forgiven one day.
- What If Louis Bloom Got Recorded: Just like the above trope, the dying Rick's secret body cam fortunately recorded Louis' true nature and due to a successful investigation on the filming industry, he gets arrested and will not hurt anyone anymore as this trope only applies to his ending and how he only is upset that he was stupid enough to not notice the body cam.
- What If Grace Really Did Cheat on Sam: Due to this part now being real, Grace also ends up losing her husband and younger daughter because of her affair and Isabelle's selfish tantrum while only having custody of the latter and yet they both doesn't have a good relationship right now due to them blaming each other for what happened to the point that Grace looks close to disowning her, only crying in remorse for what she did and yet also blaming Tommy for this to the point of refusing to help him out while hoping that Sam can recover in time and that society give him a chance for a normal life.
- What If Doug Got Sued for His Crimes: Just as expected, Doug loses the lawsuit and is forced to work in an animal shelter under supervision, which he considers this to be the trope and vows revenge for this while begging someone to at least help him.
- More coming soon.
- Earn Your Happy Ending: Don't worry, there will be happy endings:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Thanks to this titular choice, Dave's life is now peaceful and while Katie gets to become an outcast now, she still deserves it for how she treated him so shamefully and yet he does end up feeling bad for her now but still reminds himself that she brought it on herself and just wants to move on from the events that happen.
- What If Emma Didn't Shoot Eli: Just like the above ending, Emma manages to save Eli and finally realizes Kieran's true nature enough to still defeat him and throw him in jail while even entering a relationship with Eli and planning to make amends for not trusting him but they do still hear about Kieran being killed in prison and a possible new killer out there only to stop caring and just leave their town instead of dealing with the new killer, which they might think it's selfish but it's well-earned.
- What If an Abusive Husband Had a Criminal Record: Due to this titular thing, the abused wife and son are saved from the titular villain by a police friend of hers and the said villain is sentenced to life in prison without parole while the wife also manages to marry the police officer and he vows to protect them from even more scumbags like that, even if the titular villain didn't learn a lesson from this and tries vowing revenge for well-deserved defeat.
- What If A Wife Turned Her Husband In: Just like the above trope, the titular hero is talked out of blackmailing the titular villain and instead agrees to just press charges against him for what he was attempting to do to her as the court case against him is successful and she's the one being paid alimony for the damages he's caused while she also gets to be married to the man that helped her out, which he genuinely vowed to never do what her ex-husband did and they're both glad that he's in trouble now.
- What If Takeda Didn't Cheat: Unlike the video this was based on, Takeda fortunately rejects the secret affair plot and is able to prevent himself from ruining his life over a misunderstanding, which he apologizes to his wife for not trusting her and helps her sue his brother for bothering her to the point that they get a restraining order against him and he vows to trust her from now on while she apologizes too for wanting his affair to happen and plans to make up for nearly ruining his life over a family thing.
- What If Yuki's Screams Were Heard: Same as the above trope, the video's Downer Ending is now put to an end due to her neighbor Roshi hearing her screams and quickly saving her from the deranged mother via restraining the lazy and having his own wife call the police in time for the mother to be arrested for her crimes, leaving Yuki and her family safe from danger and Roshi being glad that he was there to stop the Downer Ending via hearing the screams in time.
- Even Evil Has Loved Ones: The villains might still have this:
- What If Dan McNeely Rejected His Past: While he's still a redeemed man, he still counts as evil due to his secret criminal past but he still genuinely loves his family and only took his own life out of guilt for their lives probably being ruined by his past, which the feeling is mutual and that they're willing to avenge him via exposing the ones who ruined his life.
- What If Mina Survived Her Fall: Despite cheating on him, Mina still loves Josh and regrets cheating on him while also blaming herself for betraying him like that and even thinking that she had no excuse for doing so, which is why she accepted karma.
- More coming soon.
- Even Evil Have Standards: Yes, some villains will also have this too:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Surprisingly, even Chris Genoverse and his family were shocked and appalled by what Katie put Dave through out of prejudice hatred for him and over a false rumor that she herself believed in the first place, which they also facepalm at her for easily believing it and are annoyed as well at her petty reasons for hating him.
- Reaction: Even the villains in the audience also hate her for being such a petty and shallow brat that was already nasty to him and are irritated with her idiotic beliefs about him being a so-called stalker just because she hates geeks, nerds, or even losers for ridiculous reasons such as seeing them as creepy and annoying to talk with while rolling their eyes at how she easily believed a false rumor in the 1st place and didn't look for any evidence of it being real.
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bullet Proof Vest: Despite still being evil masterminds, even Fumito and Yuka hated the traitors for their true nature as selfish and greedy jerks that were being cruel
- More coming soon.
- Everyone Has Standards: Same as the above trope, everyone will still have this:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Even the courts don't take Katie seriously and are appalled by her petty motives for hating Dave, even her parents are very disappointed in her and don't blame Dave's dad for wanting to sue them too for how they still did a bad job teaching her love and respect for others.
- More coming soon.
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Even the courts don't take Katie seriously and are appalled by her petty motives for hating Dave, even her parents are very disappointed in her and don't blame Dave's dad for wanting to sue them too for how they still did a bad job teaching her love and respect for others.
- Freudian Excuse: A lot of tragic people still have this trope for why they're the way they are:
- What If Dan Rejected His Criminal Past: The titular protagonist still has his canon backstory of only joining a criminal gang because his grandfather was dying from Alzheimer's disease and wanted to save him while also having fell in love with the gang's leader and wanted to show such loyalty only for the events of Trapped to now cause him to become a better person.
- Coming soon.
- Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse: Some villains will have this trope:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: When Katie's motive for hating Dave is shown to be from having found a nerdy playmate to be gross and creepy, Dave angrily points out how selfish and shallow that is along with how it doesn't justify how she treated him over one lie that she believed, which the courts angrily agreed with him and even the villains were disgusted by this motive.
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest: While Fumito, Itsuki, and Yuka have somewhat better motives, the traitors' motives are just plain selfish, greedy, and downright pathetic such as Kanako just wanting her research published to fellow scientists laughing at her, Tokizane getting himself into debt with his reckless habits, and the twins themselves choosing to hurt people for no reason other than for obvious enjoyment.
- More coming soon.
- Hate Sinks: A lot of characters are this:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Just like the comic this chapter is based on, Katie and her friends are nothing but selfish and petty brats that have already been rude to Daved before the fake rumor and was only nice to him just to please Katie's mother only to become full-on abusive and cruel when he at least confesses to the lie and they also ignore how they easily believed it in the first place, which even Chris is disgusted by them and admits that they might be horrible than him because they have no problem showing their cruelty while even Mindy doesn't blame Dave for lying but instead blames his bullies
- However, we also shouldn't forget their corrupt prosecutor who is willingly defending the bad side for selfish desire of power and promotion, which his motive is really selfish, greedy, and downright petty.
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest: While Fumito and Yuka seem to at least have gotten some morales and standards, we can instead easily hate the traitors instead for their cruel nature and their selfish motives such as Kanako Tsunotori for being just a delusional scientist, Shinchiro Tokizane being a greedy scumbag that looks down on Saya, and even the Motoe Twins for being sadistic criminals, which even Fumito and Yuka understandably hate them due to at least being nicer than those 4.
- What If Mina Survived Her Fall: Of course, the Rental Killer is still this because he's still a psychotic serial killer with no motive for killing other than he just seems to enjoy hurting his victims and even decides to enjoy drama as well.
- Of course, this trope goes to Charlie as well for being such an unfaithful womanizer who has been revealed to be having affairs before the events and unlike Mina, he still showed no remorse for it but only cared about being caught.
- What If Emma Didn't Shoot Eli: Just like the show it's based on, Kieran Wilcox is a sadistic and twisted murderer who never loved Emma and was just only using her to help his real girlfriend Piper while still being the one that killed his own father, stalked a girl, framed Eli into being a suspicious person, and even planning to kill him just to make Emma more miserable, which the final part no longer happens due to Emma now trusting Eli and realizing that Kieran is a monster.
- What If an Abusive Husband Had a Criminal Record: Same as Kieran Wilcox, the titular antagonist is still an abusive misogynist who hates his wife and son for how the latter was born with asthma and even went as far as to r**e the former but this chapter has him being worse via revealing him to be horrible monster that actually killed his previous children for being born disabled and even ditched the wives afterwards, which even his own backstory for this is considered to be a horrible excuse.
- More coming soon.
- Karma Houdini: Sadly, there might be this trope as well:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Despite siding with Dave now, the Genovese are still criminals as well and have yet to receive karma for the events of the 1st Kick Ass story but since this chapter is implied to follow the canon timeline, they might still get a downfall and are just not yet ready for that.
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest: Despite redeeming himself, Itsuki thinks that he's this trope due to still volunteering in this experiment and letting others get killed but never getting killed nor arrested for it, much to Saya's shock as well.
- What If Dan McNeely Rejected His Past: While Dialla and Mickey got in trouble for Dan's suicide, his old gang is presumably still at large and are never shown being arrested, although they might be disbanded after hearing of his tragic demise.
- What If Emma Never Shoots Eli: Just like the show itself, the killer that killed Kieran is still at large and never caught but Emma and Eli don't mind this since it's implied that the latter did that as revenge for what Kieran did and because they were frustrated that their enemy didn't get a death penalty, although this death is still implied to him because he technically did get off easy with a throat slit and a stab to the neck.
- More coming soon.
- Tearjerker: There will still be this:
- What If Dave Sued Katie: Despite this being because of a lie he told, Dave being bullied by Katie and her friends over it is really hard to watch and especially for victims of bullying while this trope is also due to how he originally blamed himself for this and is understandably enraged that she has petty reasons for hating him in the 1st place, which the others got mad at her too.
- What If Itsuki Wore a Bulletproof Vest: While this scene already happened, it's still heartbreaking to see Saya feeling betrayed by people that she trusted and especially how the traitors were even gleeful while it's also upsetting how her so-called crush Tokizane just cruelly calls her a monster and the other 3 just abuses her very physically and verbally, which even Itsuki, Yuka, and Fumito feel bad for her and give the traitors looks of disgust for their cruelty.
- What If Dan McNeeley Rejected His Past: Despite Dan's heroic redemption, it's still heartbreaking how he still ends up taking his own life away due to Dialla and Mickey ruining it via exposing and especially how others in town are judging him for it to the point of cruelly forbidding him from seeing his family and even how he blames himself for this tragic mess, which even his family's reaction to his death is very heartbreaking as well and her anger towards the culprits is strongly justified.
- What If Tim Forgot His Promise: While it's understandable why he left his sister, he still sees his story as this due to her refusing to forget their promise and this leads to her still having a bad ending as the police still don't believe them about a cursed mirror and just arrest due to seeing her as insane, all of which Tim blames himself for this due to choosing to forget the promise only for their ending to be a Bittersweet Ending due to her not holding a grudge.
- What If Mina Survived Her Fall: Although she believes that she deserves this ending for what she had done, it's still sad that she had lost people close to her and almost died due to refusing to reveal her affair, especially how remorseful she is and is accepting of this Downer Ending.
- What If Emma Didn't Shoot Eli: While she fortunately saved Eli, it still must be hard for her to find out Kieran's true nature.
- More coming soon.
