Outer Space is a Course located in F-Zero AX.
Outer Space was once a Space Colony, but it was hit by a large group of meteorites and was rendered useless. The F-ZERO execution project was able to request that a race track be made from what was left of the station. Though successful, the track is full of dangerous hazards. Every F-Zero pilot fears this place.
This was one of the courses that was featured in the anime. Although in the Japanese version, it was featured on Christmas Day (aired on Dec 23), where the English version cut out the reference as it aired on November; just 14 years after the original F-Zero was released in Japan on November 21!

Outer Space was only seen once, at the final lap in A Trilogy of Tension. Rick, EAD, Jack, and Lucy had been enlisted there, as was Miss Killer and even Capt. Falcon. Unfortunately, the race was overbooked as it quickly filled up since it was a new, popular location. Jody decided to put in Tinsel as one of the spectators, to keep an eye on the heroes, and she brought along her Duel Disk as well! Unusually, the arena was breathable, while the rest of the course wasn't.
