Peach's Castle side view

Peach's Castle (also known as Princess Peach's Castle or the Mushroom Castle) is the castle situated within the Mushroom Kingdom and its most prominent landmark. It is home to Princess Peach, as well as many Toads, including Toad and Toadsworth. The rooms inside the castle vary from game to game, as does the castle's location. Its general appearance was codified in Super Mario 64, where it is characterized by a tall tower supported by four towers along the outside walls. It is usually surrounded by a moat and located in a hilly grassland. Some games also have a town of varying size in its proximity, which is often named Toad Town.

The ReBoot Multiuniverse[]

Peach's Castle was a part of the Smash System, a small portion of the Mushroom Kingdom was developed from bits of data by the Web. It was being invaded as the Mario Bros were assisting the hapless damsel against Bowser, even when a Bullet Bill left a large scar on its steeple. Mario was of course victorious as he knocked off Bowser as the Goombas failed to carry him away on a stretcher below. The reprieve was short-lived as Samus' Gunship landed near the top tower to announce there's a tourney challenging the supervirus, Daemon, to save the Smash System and the Net from her infections. Moments later, Master Hand appeared and urged Peach, Mario and Luigi to assist the bounty hunter; those who object shall continue the tournament and fight off the villains including Bowser and Ganondorf, much to Luigi's dread. With no other choice, the Mario Bros and Peach boarded the vessel as Samus recruited other warriors.

The castle was the Smashers' rendezvous point as Samus' ship, the Falcon Flyer, Mewtwo, and Kirby with his Warp Star landed there. Everyone was gathered awaiting orders from their deity. He wished the guys luck before he shot apart a portion of the tower, then formed the Tear into a portal. Then, he denounced the bad news as he felt a mounting dread; as a Guardian of the System, he received word that 92% of the Net was infected by Daemon, except for the Smash System as it was enclosed by a firewall along with other small ports. He discouraged that every attempt would be futile, and they must stay in the sealed System at all costs. He soon disappeared, leaving the heroes despondent, until Falco commandeered to show some backbone!

Just then, there was a large crowd below the Castle cheering for their soldiers to fight back and save the System and the Net from viral evil! The Smashers gladly boarded the two vessels as Mewtwo and Kirby fly separately into the portal to the Web!
