Persian (Japanese: ペルシアン Persian) is a Normal-type Pokémon introduced in Generation I, and a Dark-type introduced in Generation VII.

Persian stayed at Lon Lon Ranch for seven years, while also enduring abuse by Ingo. By the time Link and Zelda II escaped, he had his chance of vengeance mauling his enslaver! He was still a great protector and companion for the ranch.

Persian evolved from Akari's Meowth before Mainframe was attacked by the Crimson Binome. Like Meowth, Persian was quick, cunning, and formidable as the Trainer used the versatile Normal-Types to overmatch the pirates, at least until Samus apprehended them.
