Phantom Ganon battling Venusaur, Link, Zelda II, and Meganium
Phantom Ganon was created by Ganondorf's new powers from the Triforce of Power. He set it inside the Forest Temple and the apparition wreaked havoc there, corroding it and the forest. Saria noticed its presence, though she'd been captured by a Wallmaster. Link, Navi, and Zelda II confronted it with Meganium and Venusaur. At first it was seen as Ganondorf, although his ghostly mask gave it away as a phantom! He and his dark steed flew into a painting and made a duplicate to confuse the heroes. At first, he was successful, catching Link off guard and giving him a fatal electric shock; only to have Zelda II give him a Paralyz Heal berry. He was also able to incapacitate the Trainer! That Meganium used her Synthesis to revive her! Eventually, when he was shot enough times, he abandoned his steed and hiding places, as he challenged Link to Deadman's Volley! His attacks were swift and fatal to the point on killing him, only to be revived by a Red Fairy. Link had enough strength to overpower it, and Ganondorf casted his worthless creature in between dimensions.
