The Pokémon world (Japanese: ポケモンの世界 Pokémon world) is the main planet for the Pokémon franchise, set in the Pokémon universe. It bears some striking similarities with the real world, certainly deriving inspiration from it, but many factors set it apart as a different place from our own world. The world of Pokémon is based on Japanese culture but various other cultures are also added and mixed.
Ikran's Trainers[]
This was the main home for 2 of Ikran's Trainers, Akari and Zelda II respectively. They were each from Johto, Goldenrod City, till they were each taken away by some sudden catastrophe. Akari visited the ruins of New Island and came across a defective computer which then sucked her in and dropped her into the System, Mainframe; there was a portal open in the sky in which she can return thru. She soon returned as she ventured thru Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos in order to train a rogue Porygon and prepare for the Trojan Megabyte and Gnosis. Zelda II and her Pokemon were all vanished from the Kanto frontier to Hyrule by a mysterious occurrence to Hyrule; it soon turned out to be the Light Sage, Rauru, to protect her and her friends from a stalker. She eventually returned and gathered more recruits from Hoenn, only to head back to Hyrule during a harsh winter.
