Pooh Bear - also known as Winnie the Pooh - is a fictional teddy bear created by English author A. A. Milne, is one of the most popular characters adapted for film and television by The Walt Disney Company. Disney first received certain licensing rights to the Winnie the Pooh stories, characters, and trademarks from Stephen Slesinger, Inc. and the estate of A. A. Milne in 1961. In The 100 Acre Wood series, he's the main character and the titular protagonist of its spin off Hidden Chronicles. He is a friendly yellow bear. Pooh has many fantastic adventures with his friends Rabbit Eeyore Tigger and Piglet. Pooh Bear's favorite thing is honey - unless he also has a sense of humor. Pooh is best friends with Christopher Robin and Woody the Cowboy.

In Hidden Chronicles Pooh befriended Rita the Fox who assisted him to escape from the Scientists of NIMH -save his homeland and fight his arch nemesis Pete.
