Princess Tiana Rogers is the main female protagonist of Disney's The Frog Princess a smiliarity and combination between The Swan Princess (based on the Swan Lake fairy tale), and The Princess and the Frog (based on The Frog Prince), as an alternate story where Tiana was first cursed into a frog, before Naveen.

Just like the Tiana from The Princess and the Frog her personality remains the same.
History[]
Tiana was born, and raised in New Orleans to Eudora and James Rogers in the 1920s. Formerly as a citizen, growing up at the age of 19 years old, she lost her father in the field of battle during the first world war, and her mother died in cancer, and with a broken heart. She was left alone with out her family, but at least her friend Charlotte La Bouff has her, as the closest and bestest friends ever. Before Prince Naveen arrived, without Lawrence, an old witch doctor-hag showed up, swooped in and kidnapped her, holding her hostage at the bayou. During the different version of the song "Friends on the other side", she showed her the past, present, and what happens in the future: She lost both her parents; her father in the world war, and her mother with a broken heart in cancer in the past. She needed to have a family before he can marry a prince. However, the hag, told Tiana that hitching ties her down, like she wanted to be free; hop from place to place, which freedom can take green, which is what he looks into her future. He put a spell on Tiana, using a tailsman that transformed her into a frog, leaving her that way forever, and was locked up in a cage in an empty cabin in the middle of the forest, and the bayou. The old witch doctor-hag all of a sudden, turned out to be Dr. Facilier, the shadow man, in disguise, who as a matter of fact, definitely had friends on the other side. The only way to break the curse was to be kissed by a prince so that she can be back as a beautiful and magical human princess.
One night, Prince Naveen showed up in the bayou, and told Tiana that he heard the news about what heppend to her on satilite TV, and couldn't believe that Facilier would kidnap a human and turn her into a frog, and he had to do something. However, after letting Tiana out of the cage, the kiss backfired, and Naveen ended up as a frog, and, looking at his reflection and what happened to his body, was like "Shucks! This can't be happening! It back fired! How?!" Tiana was worried; They had to tell Louis the Aligator, Mama Odie what happened. Just then, Charlotte came to the bayou and was worried about Tiana being cursed into a frog before her fiance. And so, Mama Odie sent Charlotte, and Louis, to undo Facilier's doing, especially his hostile city domination. Suddenly, as they were about to intrude Dr. Facilier's emporium, they have been captured and held hostage, by shadows, commanded by Dr. Facilier. Just before Faciler could put a spell on the team one by one, with the tailsman, a teenaged Sofia the First, and, her stepsister, a teenaged Amber of Enchancia from the EverRealm appeared, interrupting the scene. Before they was about to be captured, Sofia looked at the picture she took from camera of Tiana as a frog, from her 2009 film, and made a wish upon her amulet to change into a frog. Facilier was shocked to see how she changes into animals, but before he could pin Sofia down, she stretched out her tounge caught the Tailsman, and smashed it on the ground into pieces. Facilier couldn't figure out how to pay back his debt, but was turned against by his friends on the other side, only to be horrified, pleading them about a setback, needing some time, but they woudn't listen. They dragged him away into the spirit world, leading his result desceased. Sofia, who turned herself back into a human, and Amber set Charlotte, and Louis free, and the amulet broguht them to the bayou, where Tiana, Naveen and Mama Odie were. Tiana never rcognized Sofia in her teenaged years, but she still knows her since they first met in the Sofia the First episode "Winter's Gift". Sofia explained to Tiana why she Amber had to help Charlotte and Louis, before she came to inturrupt the hostage scene she took close-up picutre of her and Naveen in their frog forms and recalls what happened in the Princess and the Frog film. Charlotte, Louis, Mama Odie, Sofia and Amber attended Tiana's and Naveen's wedding. Suddenly, as the couple kissed, they magically transform themselves back into humans, as Tiana is now a princess by marrying Naveen.
Tiana, eventually moved from to New Orleans to Maldonia along with Naveen, and took Charlotte with them. After five weeks, Tiana was told by Mama Odie and Naveen that someday she have a new family. And so she was put under a sleeping spell by Odie, and was put her on a huge queen-sized frog bed in her bedroom in the highest tower, of the maldonia castle, and Naveen remembered not to wake her up; giving birth to a child would break the sleeping spell. For three months of sleeping, Tiana became pregnant, with her belly expanding faster, because of some magic inside her that Mama Odie put. As the child was born, who turned out to be a healthy baby boy, named "Devante Rogers" Tiana awoke with the sleeping spell broken, looked and smiled at him.

- Tiana's son, Devante Rogers, is played by Jennifer Hudson's son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., when he was born, and then three years old, and later grown up.
- Tiana's fiance Prince Naveen was played by Jennifer Hudson's second husband, David Otunga.
- Unlike Anika Noni Rose's Tiana she voiced, Jennifer Hudson's Tiana never wanted to build and open a resteraunt of her own, and never had a job.
