Prishe is a non-player character from Final Fantasy XI and is one of the main characters in the Chains of Promathia story. Prishe is an Elvaan living in the Tavnazian Safehold, since her former home in the once prosperous Tavnazian Marquisate was destroyed during the Crystal War 15 years ago. She mysteriously does not age, causing many to label her as a demon—the reasons for which are explored in the story. Prishe is a tomboy who is well known for her impulsive attitude and forthrightness.

Prishe is a secret playable character in Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy, appearing with Shantotto as the second representative of Final Fantasy XI. Prishe is a combination Monk and White Mage and also fights with magic and weapon skills. In her world, she was once intended to be the vessel for Promathia, the Twilight God, until the darkness inside of her was crystallized, turning her immortal. Along with Selh'teus, Prishe was instrumental in Promathia's destruction. Like Shantotto, Prishe is a warrior of Cosmos and, as a secret character, she has no impact on the main storyline and no villain opposing her. However, she is mostly responsible for recruiting the Warrior of Light to Cosmos's side.

In order to unlock her as a playable character, the player is first required to beat the entirety of the Dissidia 012 storyline, then complete the first chapter of the 013 story. After this has been accomplished, the player will need to go to the "Reports" section and beat all of the scenarios in "Report 8". Doing all of this will unlock both Prishe and Gilgamesh in the PP Store for purchase as playable characters, which costs 300 PP each. Prishe is the second representative character for Final Fantasy XI after Shantotto, and the second playable Monk-class character (both of whom are female) after Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy VII.

Dissidia Shadowgate[]

Much like Shantotto, she too passed during the fights with the Manikins, and wound up at Stormhaven serving King Lakmir till the other Dissidia warriors arrived. She soon accepted the final challenge, to infiltrate Castle Shadowgate, with gusto. She was a constant companion with Shantotto, always sticking by her and quarreling with her large ego. She even saved the group with the warlock's first trap as Zidane reached for a black book of secrets and the floor collapsed and she used her Float spell. Or, when she saved Shantotto as she was foolishly climbed down a ladder when its ledges broke off. Or when she had her chance to shine as she fought off the cyclops in the courtyard using her lethal martial arts and healing spells. She even found a bucket in a well, thinking it was food, when it turned out to be gauntlets, she gladly put on. She even crossed the pisspoor plank bridge, followed by Luneth, and shouted at a snake; the Onion Knight used a spell and churned it to a staff and the Mage was so grateful she nearly choked him. She even chastised him on using a wishing well, even though it was a passage to a ferry leading to the warlock. She also tried to save Doc from the Behemoth, though she was unsuccessful till Firion finished the job.

In the epilogue, at Abyssea, there was the adventurer who saw a ghostly form of Prishe. She prayed she'll evolve into the dragon, Shinryu, and vanquish the monsters in the unforgiving terrain. He also hoped she'll take in all the souls at that moment since she's the sole survivor of Promethia.
