This is about the audience reading narrative chapters of Project Kronos, focusing on the old day heroes from the past.
Note[]
- Rated TV-MA for foul language, bloody deaths, scary violence, and graphic effects.
- Unlike the Incredibles, this isn't meant for kids and for obvious reasons, so don't let them see it.
- It's similar to Watchmen, Kick Ass, Jupiter's Legacy, Guardians of Justice, and other mature hero content that still contains foul language, various deaths, and any R-Rated content that mostly shows violent material.
Prologue: Explanation[]
Everyone was gathered for this and explained everything, especially how scary it can be.
Both past and future heroes were also informed about this, getting worried right now.
"Jack, what did happen to you?" asked a worried Gazerbeam (The Incredibles).
"It's a rough story." said a sighing Gamma Jack (The Incredibles), who indeed looked like a washed-out actor.
"Also, the cape victims won't be presented for obvious reasons." said a serious BrandonKR.
"Don't remind us." said a sighing Stratogale (The Incredibles).
"I'm glad to not wear a cape anymore." said a shivering Macroburst (The Incredibles).
Edna (The Incredibles) still meant it, no capes.
Chapter 1: Universal Man[]
Everyone was curious about Universal Man (The Incredibles).
Universal Man (The Incredibles) had no problem sharing his thoughts.
Bob (The Incredibles) wondered how his old friend came first.
Nonetheless, they all started the story.
(Narrator #1: Universal Man. Secret Identity: None (He only sees his alter-ego as this). Team: Beta Force (alongside Blazestone). Accent: Austrian. Powers/Abilities: Molecular Density Manipulation and Black Hole Mimicry. Weaknesses: Ultra-Gravity Nexus, Uncontrolled Gravity, Insecurity, and Unsuspiciousness. Voice Actor for him: Jon Ranft but can be Arnold Schwarzenegger himself for obvious reasons.)
"Yep, that's him, alright." said a nodding Bob (The Incredibles).
"I still remember him too." said an agreeing Gamma Jack (The Incredibles).
"And you'll see how the project starts." said a serious Universal Man (The Incredibles).
They all paid attention to this.
(Hello, this is Universal Man narrating and just as always, I have no secret identity but instead, my alter-ego is the only identity that I will always have and need.)
"He's insecure about secret identities, so he prefers to just be Universal Man." said a sighing BrandonKR.
"My only name is Universal Man." said a stern Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"He sounds cool." said an excited Dash (The Incredibles).
"Dash, please don't let your hero identity control your normal life." said a serious Bob (The Incredibles).
"It's also very worrying." said a worried Kaede (DRV3).
"Yeah, I've heard most heroes only go by their alter-egos instead of civilian self." said an agreeing Izuku (MHA).
(As for how I became a hero, it's usually never known but I still confirm that I willingly became one and helped my fellow Supers defend the city and world from those fiendish scoundrels that call themselves villains.)
"I still made a vow to protect the innocent from those awful fiends." said a glaring Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"What would we do without superheroes around to stop supervillains?" asked a sighing Issei (DXD).
(And yes, I once worked with Blazestone on the Beta Force but we still didn't get along with each other, which I still won't reveal details about why but I'm ashamed of her for how she usually does villain acts.)
"I still rather now talk about it, we just didn't fit well as a team." said a sighing Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"To be fair, not all teams get along with each other." said a shrugging BrandonKR.
"Yeah, me and Team 7 were like that as well." said an agreeing Naruto.
"But young man, you still do good teamwork with them, no matter what." said a stern Everseer (The Incredibles).
"He's right, that still makes me proud." said proud Kakashi (Naruto), still happy about it.
However, Miruko (MHA) still hates teamwork, only seeing it as making heroes look weak.
(As for secret identities, I indeed refuse to have a civilian identity but instead see my heroic alter-ego as my true self, I'm only Universal Man and my mask will always be my true face.)
"Rorschach is also like this, he considers his mask to be his face." said a sighing BrandonKR.
"I don't go by Walter Kovacs anymore, only Rorschach." said a stern Rorschach (Watchman).
"Exactly, Universal Man is my one and only name." said an agreeing Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"Still sounds worrying." said a worried Kaede (DRV3).
"Hey, I'm like that too." said a shrugging Dekkun (MVI), preferring his villain name.
Izuku (MHA) was worried to hear about that.
(At the mention of my powers, I gave Molecular Density Manipulation, which not only gives me a few famous powers but I can manifest my density to emulate the properties of a black hole.)
"Woah, that is so epic." said an excited Dash (The Incredibles).
"Yep, that's Universal Man for you." said a nodding Bob (The Incredibles).
"Indeed, my powers also give me flight, strength, and even invulnerable as well." said an agreeing Universal Man (The Incredibles), glad that the kid liked the powers.
Many people did like his powers and thought that he was awesome.
'He might even be a match for Viltrum.' thought a curious Omni-Man (Invincible).
(As for the weaknesses, I unfortunately confirm that not only can I be killed by a surprise attack and have some low self-esteem but my powers can also be very catastrophic if it's left uncontrolled, which my hero buddies can probably confirm.)
"Sadly, he's right, I think I recall we had to handle a certain incident about it." said a sighing Gamma Jack (The Incredibles), that was a real hassle to deal with.
"Oh god, how dangerous was it?" asked a worried Violet (The Incredibles).
"Let's just say if it wasn't stopped, we wouldn't be here now." said a serious Bob (The Incredibles).
"Don't worry, they stopped it in time and nobody was hurt." said a smiling Universal Man (The Incredibles).
However, some supers knew differently but won't tell him, he's better off not knowing.
(And about 1947, I did attend the wedding but also pissed as well when Mr. Incredible got unfairly sued by that ungrateful jumper and it led to more lawsuits, even ending our careers over this.)
"If only we can counter sue that asshole for acting like this." said an angry Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"Amen, it's not Bob's fault that he was just doing his job." said an agreeing Jack (The Incredibles).
"And there's no excuse for the guy doing that, he should be grateful that his life was saved and it's his fault for attempting it in public where someone would save him." said a glaring Bakugo (MHA).
"Yeah, this guy is rightfully declared a Hate Sink for this." said a sighing BrandonKR, also hating that ungrateful jerk.
Even Bob (The Incredibles) is still starting to regret saving that idiot's life.
(Heck, I'm also not pleased either to be retiring because my mask and costume is my only identity, it's like my real identity and life was just taken away because of this.)
"Universal Man is just only that." said a frowning Universal Man (The Incredibles), hating his retirement.
"He's right, retirement just really sucks." said an agreeing Psychwave (The Incredibles).
"Of course, Universal Man really hates having to live a civilian life because taking away his mask and costume is like taking away his face and body." said a sighing Bob (The Incredibles).
"Still, not a healthy lifestyle." said a frowning Kaede (DRV3).
However, Izuku (MHA) and Ruby (RWBY) calmed her down.
(During my retirement, I just lived alone in my own home and yet reluctantly went unmasked when buying materials and groceries to survive this new life, although I still don't consider this living.)
"I'm surprised that I didn't go bankrupt over the years from any spending but I guess the NSA has been helping me with keeping my bank account active." said a shrugging Universal Man (The Incredibles), not knowing how either.
"Yeah, I now believe that the government was still helping their old allies out." said a nodding BrandonKR.
"It's true, we have to help him survive." said an agreeing Rick (The Incredibles).
"It must be still hard for that kind of retirement." said a sympathetic Violet (The Incredibles).
A lot of heroes can only imagine what Universal Man (The Incredibles) was going through.
(Of course, that suddenly changed when I came home and ranted about my identity until I found a tablet on my couch and it gave me the same message as the others, which I did accept for obvious reasons.)
"If only I knew what I was getting into." said a sighing Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"Amen." said the agreeing Supers (The Incredibles).
However, Izuku (MHA) and Ruby (RWBY) reluctantly taped Kaede (DRV3)'s mouth to prevent her comments right now.
"Sorry, Kaede but no one wants to hear it right now." said a sheepish Izuku (MHA).
"But we'll take it off later." said a smiling Ruby (RWBY).
She just sighed in acceptance at this, although she still frowned at them.
(Once I got to that island in the same way as Mr. Incredible, I was searching for the 1st Omni-Droid but this one obviously didn't leave any clues at all, leading to a surprise attack on me.)
Everyone then got worried about his own demise.
"How bad was it?" asked a worried Dash (The Incredibles).
"Be warned, it's not very pretty at all." said a sighing Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"Oh boy, reading about it seems terrifying." said a worried Issei (DXD).
"Let's just read about it." said a frowning Shinji (Evangelion).
Reluctantly, they agreed to find out.
(To how bad my death was, the Omni-Droid slammed me on the ground very harshly before crushing my legs with its wheels and then finishing me off via stomping on my head, destroying my own brain.)
Everyone puked at hearing how brutal it was for him to die.
However, Izuku (MHA) and Ruby (RWBY) removed Kaede (DRV3)'s tape in time to help her puke as well.
"Oh god, it's very horrible." said a horrified Kaede (DRV3).
"No shit, it didn't show mercy on him." said an agreeing Mercury (RWBY).
"Even we think he didn't deserve this." said a glaring Tomura (MHA).
Yeah, even the villains are hating Syndrome (The Incredibles) for this.
(After that, everything went black but when I opened my eyes, I was in the afterlife and had figured out that I was dead due to what happened to me, which I'm still getting used to being dead.)
"It's confusing but you end up used to it." said a shrugging Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"At least the Omni-Droid stomped on your head, that's brief mercy to you." said a sighing Gamma Jack (The Incredibles).
"Indeed, I do thank it for doing that, it ended my pain." said an agreeing Universal Man (The Incredibles).
"Still, that was one of the brutal deaths that we're seeing." said a shivering Izuku (MHA).
"Oh boy, it'll get worse from there." said a worried BrandonKR.
This made even the villains get worried about how bad it is.
(Anyways, that's all I can tell you because I'm just the 1st victim and there's barely anything else about me but I sincerely wish the others good luck and goodbye, this is Universal Man signing off.)
Everyone had a moment of silence for him, not knowing him that much but his death was still tragic.
"We'll miss you, old friend." said a sad Mr. Incredible (The Incredibles).
"Rest in peace, sir." said a sad Blazestone (The Incredibles).
"At least I went out as my true self: Universal Man." said a smirking Universal Man (The Incredibles).
Everyone tearfully chuckled at hearing that.
Overall, they're already missing him.
Chapter 2: Psycwave[]
Everyone was curious about her as well.
However, her old comrades weren't happy about her.
Despite this, her old team wondered what she was up to.
"I'm actually worried about what happened to her." said a worried Macroburst (The Incredibles).
"Oh boy, you're in for a scare, kiddo." said a sighing Psycwave (The Incredibles).
"I'm already dreading it." said a shivering Stratogale (The Incredibles).
Heck, the audience were all dreading it too.
Nonetheless, they decided to see this.
(Narrator #2: Psycwave. Secret Identity/Aliases: Rose Cameron (Head cannon name for now). Team: The Phantasmics (alongside Everseer, Macroburst, and Plasmabolt). Powers and Abilities: Mental Force Wave Generation, Temporary Mental Paralysis, Body Possession, Psychic Foresight, Thought Control, and Telekinesis. Weaknesses: Machines and Unconsciousness. Voice: Anna Faris because it seems like fun to hire her for this part.)
Everyone looked at Shinso (MHA), who also saw her as similar to him very well.
"Rose Cameron is fine for now." said a shrugging Psycwave (The Incredibles).
"Yep, that's her, alright." said a nodding Macroburst (The Incredibles).
The other supers know those powers very well.
(Hello, everyone, this is Psycwave here and I'm of the glory day heroes, even being friends with Elastigirl and the other girls.)
"Hey, Helen, long time no see." said a smiling Psycwave (The Incredibles).
"Rose, how you've been?" asked a laughing Helen (The Incredibles), hugging her.
"Retirement's been so boring." said a sighing Psycwave (The Incredibles).
"Amen." said the agreeing heroes (The Incredibles).
"Still, it's nice to see you again." said a happy Macroburst (The Incredibles).
Psycwave (The Incredibles) hugged him with a giggle at his kindness.
Chapter 3: Everseer[]
T.V. Tropes[]
- Abusive Dad: Unfortunately, Gamma Jack believes that he is this due to believing that his possible daughter Rae is more of a parent to him instead and that the Super Ban left him briefly neglectful, although he would still clearly love her and wanted to provide money for both of them along with wanting Mirage to be a stepmother to Rae and this still leaves Rae to be saddened by his demise because they both still loved each other and Syndrome took that away over a petty grudge.
- Affably Evil: The brutal and violent supers are still heroes at heart and still respect their fellow heroes to the point of wanting to really stop Syndrome, even praising Mr. Incredible for putting an end to this and thanking him for avenging them.
- Antagonist Title: Just like the film, the titular operation is run by the Big Bad Syndrome and it involves the deaths of the main characters, even showing how they died and that one of them found out what the plan was.
- Anti-Hero: While their deaths are still very saddening, some of them weren't really great role models.
- Gamma Jack: Just as always mentioned, he's a very lethal hero with a big ego and Fantastic Racism so much that even the NSA had concerns about him becoming a supervillain and kept tabs on him to make sure he didn't become evil, which even he understood because of how he not only killed a villain very badly but also only saves attractive girls.
- More coming soon.
- Asshole Victims: Downplayed; Yes, some supers like Gamma Jack, Psycwave, Blazestone, and Hypershock were very flawed heroes but no matter what, they really didn't deserve what happened to them and their demises are still played for horror.
- Big Bad: Just as always, Syndrome is still the one behind the titular events and still doing this over a petty grudge that even the supers find to be ridiculous, even if we are reminded that Mr. Incredible dealt with him.
- Bittersweet Ending: Despite them being Doomed by Canon, there's still a reminder that it wasn't in vain because the Incredibles and Frozone are still around and had put a stop to Syndrome for good, even if friends and families were still devastated.
- Complete Monster: Just like the film it's based on, Buddy Pine a.k.a. Syndrome is still a malicious and genocidal egotist who is only doing this because Mr. Incredible rightfully rejected him as a hero for constantly being in the way all the time and is still ironically part of the reason why the lawsuits happened but this story shows him as much worse via making the supers' deaths very brutal and even seen or heard taking sadistic amusement in this like a game, which leaves him fully irredeemable now.
- Darker and Edgier:
