Ruben Blades, birth name Ruben Blades Bellido de Luna, is a Panamanian singer, actor, musician, politician and activist. He primarily performs in the musical genres of Latin jazz, salsa and Afro-Cuban and his most famous song is "Pedro Navaja", which was inspired by "Mack the Knife". He has also acted in a number of television shows and films.
He appeared in The Quest for Beasts: A New Generation as Mexican archaeologist Professor Fernando Rodriguez.
He wrote the Spanish-language song "Cara e Cara" (Face to Face) for Oliver and Company:The Series and made an appearance on the series as the voice of security guard Rodney Valdez.
