Shadow the Hedgehog is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Billed as "The Ultimate Life Form", he was artificially created by Professor Gerald Robotnik. He is Sonic's rival. He used to have a close friend named Maria, who was shot down by a bunch of G.U.N. soldiers. This incident permanently altered his psyche. After a fall from space, he seemed to have forgotten much of his past, making him mysterious. He works closely with Rouge the Bat, who is what many call his girlfriend. He also works with a robot named E-123 Omega, the last of the E series robots Eggman created. He can use a variety of Chaos powers, including Chaos Spear, a bright yellow shard of energy; Chaos Control, time manipulation; and Chaos Blast, sending a gigantic wave of energy, destroying everything in its path.
