Shere Khan is the main antagonist of Disney's 1967 animated feature film The Jungle Book and its 2003 sequel The Jungle Book 2. A powerful Bengal tiger, Shere Khan is considered suave and charming, yet is deeply feared as the most ferocious predator in the jungle. His reputation was such that he needed only to show himself to intimidate his victims. Khan is equally notorious for his animosity toward man, due to his fear of guns and fire. As such, he has vowed to kill any human that steps foot in the jungle.Shere Khan is an anthropomorphic Bengal tiger from the jungles of India. He was the main villain in Pooh's Adventures of The Jungle Book. Shere Khan was originally a friend to Baloo, King Louie, Colonel Hahti, and Bagheera. He's still friends with Kaa. He turned evil when men went to his jungle and destroyed nearly everything from men's guns and fire, his two worst fears. After that, he was banished by the local wolf tribe. Not until, he heard news that Mowgli, a child who was by the pack when he was a baby. In a battle - Khan was defeated when he gets scared away by fire (the only thing he was afraid).
In Hidden Chronicles - Shere Khan appeared on the episode Khan's Revenge - where he fought Mowgli and Baloo. Thanks to Pooh Bear Tigger and Rita the Fox who visited India. They helped Mowgli escaped to an ancient ruin. Khan ends up trapped forever inside a fallen stone tiger head after he tried to kill Mowgli and Shanti.
Shere Khan is voiced by George Sanders in The Jungle Book - then Tony Jay in The Jungle Book 2 and later by Corey Burton in The 100 Acre Wood series.
