Shuckle (Japanese: ツボツボ Tsubotsubo) is a Bug/Rock-type Pokémon introduced in Generation II. It is known for having the highest base Defense and Special Defense stats of any Pokémon.

Shuckle functioned as a backup if the heroes should run out of sundries from the Stadium; it wasn't long for the meds to be used up. Shuckle's chance to shine was when Akari used the Bugs in the Damaged System, even in the medieval Game. Shuckle's luck was about to run out when the Web Riders attacked the Saucy Mare, if it weren't for Bob and Samus.

Shuckle was first found in the Sacred Forest Meadow mingling with Saria and the other Grass and Bug Types. Shuckle was useful being an obstacle as well as providing healthy items for the team thru Dodongo's Cavern. He was also useful in tripping Moblins and still providing the heroes with berries and/or medicine as long as he had the ingredients needed. He also volunteered to try and cure Zelda II when she was sick, even Link and Zelda after the fateful battle with Ganon!
