Shy Guys, alternatively formatted as Shyguys, Shy-Guys, or ShyGuys, are recurring enemies that are recognizable by their masks, which they wear due to their shyness. Shy Guys first appear in Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, later released in the Western world as Super Mario Bros. 2.
The Shy Guys are supporting antagonists in the Super Mario franchise and minor antagonists in The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. They are armies of creatures who are followers of Bowser and even other villains like Wart and King Boo. They always wear masks that cover their faces. They differ in color and variety.
The Tribal Ceremonies[]
Ever since the 1st ceremony, there was the variant, the Spear Guy, that participates in each one. They'd been in a small group dancing around with their spears in hand and can function as either decoys or hunters. There was also the Spear Girl added to them!
