Slifer Card
Slifer is a character appearing in the manga and anime, as one of the most powerful monster spirits, the Egyptian Gods. In the Japanese anime and manga, its card is called "Saint Dragon - The God of Osiris".
In Ancient Egypt, Slifer is one of the three Egyptian Gods, along with Obelisk the Tormentor and The Winged Dragon of Ra. These monsters were only capable of being summoned by the chosen Pharaoh, which is revealed to be Atem.
When Atem spotted Thief Bakura fleeing from the palace after he had attacked Aknadin, he chased after him on horseback. Atem allowed Slifer to be struck in order to protect innocent civilians from Diabound's attacks and then got Slifer to force the battle into the sky. However Diabound was able to disappear into the darkness and attack Slifer from behind. Atem pretended to surrender his Millennium Puzzle in order to distract Thief Bakura while he had Slifer sneak up on him. However Bakura got Diabound to make a similar sneak attack on the Pharaoh. After the priests arrived, Aknadin stabbed the stone slab of Slifer, destroying it. By defeating Slifer, Diabound gained its power, including its "Thunder Force" attack.
Ikran's F-Zero timeline[]
Slifer was used by Yami as he decided to pursue the Blue Falcon and escort Falcon and Jody out of the exploding powerplant in Lightning. Since he was considered the fastest, Yami didn't hesitate. He was successful on clearing the way, and leading Falcon and Jody out safely.
He was used again as Yugi and Joey were fending off a swarm of Death Soldiers from Jody, who later turned on them!
