The Blue Wizard Solarius is one of three of Carolinus' brothers, who commands the heavens and seas. He has a dragon companion who assists him and since it was forbidden for the brother wizards to fight each other, he provided the Shield of Saturn to drive away dark magic in the quest to attain Ommadon's crown. He was also able to revive Aragh after he drowned under the condition that he shall fight off Ommadon's sand murks invading Carolinus' home before the wolf joined the group.
