Special Forces Base bottom
The Special Forces Base is an arena and a new, mountain-based hangar under the name Mountain Hangar, headquartered by the U.S. Special Forces in Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe.
The scheming businessman Lex Luthor while trespassing here, had been planning to steal the portal technology utilized by the U.S. Special Forces in this vicinity before he was confronted by Major Jax Briggs.
The Special Forces Base itself is divided in two:
- The upper half of the Special Forces stronghold has a few looming plane-like vehicles and computer bays in the background. Players can be Free Fall Kombat'd to the helipads below.
- The lower half of the Special Forces stronghold is just a few helipads near the water. Players wind up here when knocked from above.

It has made a few brief appearances in the series.
First, after it was being reformed by Hsu Hao's treachery early on in MK: Vengeance. A lot of hearings would be made there involving Sonya and company, even when she received word from Stryker that he was briefing in on Kabal's critical and soon stable condition. She was also discussing with Johnny at times, or when she shown she was with child before Armageddon, as well as recruiting Cyrax, Jax, Stryker and Kabal for the war.
