Suijin was a fanmade character for Mortal Kombat Muegen, known as the eternal Water Goddess of Earthrealm and one of its protectors along with Raiden and Fujin. She's a non-canon character although she can be playable in Mortal Kombat games made by the fans such as Muegen, New Era, and Chaotic New Era. She was also featured in a flashback to the war of Shinnok in Mortal Kombat Reconciliation.

Suijin wasn't necessarily considered as Raiden and Fujin's sister. Actually, she saw no relation between them and her, so she decided to have Suijin as a lover to Raiden instead, both with opposing elements of lightning and water. Unfortunately she was killed as Shinnok mimicked her cryokinesis, froze her, then shattered her body and soul!
