Tao Dojo is a business that is owned and run by Tao Chong. This was one of the main places in the VR Troopers series, especially when Ryan, Kaitlin, and JB train there and mostly Ryan runs weekly classes. Occasionally, it'd be attacked by Skugs, and even Amy (the Red Python), along with other guests, even Mia Chong (Tao's daughter) and Ricky (his nephew), would stop by. At one point, Ryan had to run the Dojo by himself, and Jeb had to step in as the backup teacher when the place became too overwhelming. Sometimes Tao'd share a partnership with his brother, Chao Chong. There was also a place to heal as there'd be a secret, opaque chamber housing many mysterious crystals.
We Are VR Troopers![]
This was one of the main places in the crossover. It was stated in the backstory that Chita was playing the Sega Genesis game, Mutant League Football, and it was there when the tv went haywire, taking her into virtual reality where she met and recruited the General and the War Slammers which was her favorite team! She'd also often do odd jobs around the place since she wasn't coordinated and didn't have a lot of stamina thus not being a good trainee for martial arts; she'd often hang out with the trio and Jeb instead.
This was also a place for retreat since JB got powerless against Doom Master and returned to his human form there, while the war was still going on. Kaitlin soon returned there when her role was done while Ryan recovered at Ling's home. Chita decided to carry Grimlord's pet lizard, Juliet, after his skyscraper was sabotaged; Tao soon found her in his Peri and decided to keep her as a pet and companion! The General soon lectured Chita that Ryan needed to deal with his demons believed to be inherited by Tyler, saying he knew from experience as an actual soldier. By the time Ryan was ready, he invited Ling to visit the Dojo and meet Tao, Tyler and the other Troopers.
Several years later, after Tao passed on due to old age, Chao entrusted Tyler and Ryan to be his successors. Since then, Ryan was married to Ling, thus introducing a variety of martial arts, and the dojo expanded. Their kids, Taylor and Suri, along with their puppy, Jeb Jr., often stop by! Chita reunited with Ryan there as well as he explained how much the place changed!
