Team Dark is one of the four teams from Sonic Heroes, alongside Team Sonic, Team Rose and Team Chaotix. Its members are Shadow the Hedgehog (speed type), Rouge the Bat (flight type) and E-123 Omega (power type), with Rouge being the de-facto leader. Team Dark's gameplay was meant to be the most difficult and action-packed in the game.

Team Cyborg Vs. The Roboticized Teams[]
While on One of their missions, Jonathan encountered Destiny the Hedgehog. She was partially roboticized from the arms, legs and body. She tells Jonathan that she's a female hedgehog cyborg with powerful abilities and moves, and suddenly other female hedgehog cyborgs (Michelle, Lauren, Ashley, Rachael, Jessica, Jennifer, Megan, Susanna and Tanya) appeared, forming Team Cyborg. They agreed to team up with Team Dark. Jonathan suddenly got a brilliant idea in which he turned into a cyborg, Leslie the Hedgehog, who became Team Cyborgs's leader.
Team Cyborg was rushing off to fight off Eggman's Robots until they discovered that the Teams had become robots.
