Ted Bundy (November 24 1946 - January 24 1989) was an American rapist and serial killer. He is known for having murdered numerous young women across the United States from 1974 to 1978. He raped, bludgeoned, strangled and in some cases stabbed his victims. He was executed in the electric chair in 1989. He has gone down in history as one of the most nutorious serial killers. He was charachtirized by being well-spoken and handsome. 

Early Life

Theodore Robert Cowell was born on November 24 1946 in Burlington, Vermont as the bastard child of Eleanor Louise Cowell and an unknown father who left her before Ted was born. Louise sattled in her parent's home in Philadelphia. To keep the family reputation, Ted was told that his grandparents where his parents and his mother was his older sister. His grandfather Sam Cowell was a tiranical and abusive man who hit his wife, and on one accasion threw her down the stairs. His grandmother suffered from manic depression. At one accasion, Ted's aunt Julia woke up from a sleep, and saw that Ted had taken the kitchen knives and laid them around her, with the blades towars her calmly watching her terror. In 1950, Louise met Johnnie Bundy who she married. Her and Ted's name were changed. In his youth, Ted was distant to his stepfather
