The Great Witch Engine

The Great Witch Engine is a evil wicked witch engine. She lives in her castle which is in the Haunted Forest of the Railway Of The Dead. She is known for stealing souls of dead engines, trapping them in her layer & using them. She is also very vulnerable to sunlight since light kills her.

Biography

The Magic Of Light (2010)

The Great Witch Engine s tells her ghost train to get the Sodor engines. Meanwhile, she and her ghost train arrived at the Island of Sodor to kidnapped Sodor engines and bringing them to die. Then the engines stopped at the edge. The Great Witch Of Souls is waiting for Thomas and she has plans for him. When Thomas arrives, he saw the Great Witch Engine and her ghost train, and both of them to turn Thomas's friends into evil and ugly just like the Great Witch Engine. Then as the ghost train takes Thomas to her haunted forest, the Flying Dutchmann came to stop the Great Witch Engine and he furiously yells at her that he wants to rest in peace, but the Great Witch Engine refused to let him rest in peace. This made the Flying Dutchman very cross! As the Great Witch Engine runs as fast as she could, the Flying Dutchman's eyes turn yellow that the sun is coming up and it was morning now. The Great Witch Engine ran inside the shed, because she hates sunlight. If the Great Witch Engine comes out the shed, she would explode. Then she saw Proteus appeared and he got Thomas out of her haunted forest and Thomas comes towards the Great Witch Engine and he pulls out of the shed. The Great Witch Engine got scared, she had an idea and disappeared to go back to the haunted forest just as the Flying Dutchman arrives to stop Thomas. The ghost train thinks that he and the Great Witch Engine failed, but the Great Witch Engine tells her ghost train that they had to attack next time but Proteus arrived to harm the Great Witch Engine with his magic lamp

The Curse Of Fredrick (2011)

The Great Witch Engine came to see the Flying Dutchman, Ghoul and Thomas. The Flying Dutchman asks her about Proteus and the Great Witch Engine tells him that she locked him in the dungeon. The Flying Dutchman gives Thomas to the Great Witch Engine and says that she can have him but she declines. Then the ghoul tries to kill the Great Witch Engine but she pushed him which made the ghoul explodes. The Great Witch Engine is ready to go to the Island of Sodor to kill Thomas's friends. When the Great Witch Engine appears in the Island of Sodor, the darkness was all gone and everything is back to normal. Percy, James, Gordon, Henry, Toby and Sir Topham Hatt saw the Great Witch Engine! Sir Topham Hatt thinks there is no such things as witches, but the Great Witch Engine said that there is such thing as witches. Then she saw Thomas's driver and fireman and Sir Topham Hatt asks them if they were okay. The Great Witch Engine asks the driver and fireman that the Flying Dutchman send them back, bet they don't know. Then the Great Witch Engine explodes the houses until the Flying Dutchman appears to stop her. He tells her that she can nothing. Then the Great Witch Engine rumbles the ground which made the Sodor engines scared, and then the Knapford roof collapses and lands and crushed poor Percy and James. The Great Witch Engine rips Gordon from the ground and then Gordon is off the track. Sir Topham Hatt tries to tell her to leave the engines alone, but she didn't listen. The Great Witch Engine flies Henry up in the air and then she puts Henry down onto the ground. And then she moves Toby to hail. And then the Great Witch Engine runs to the graveyard while the Flying Dutchman is chasing after her. The Flying Dutchman saw the Great Witch Engine is flying in the sky and she blew up the house. When the Great Witch Engine arrived at the graveyard and she was about to make people rise again, the Flying Dutchman stops her, including Thomas and Proteus. the Flying Dutchmann angrily turning into his giant hand form to attack her. When Sir Topham Hatt arrived to see Thomas and Proteus, the giant hand squeezed the poor dragon. The Great Witch Engine tries to tell her ghost train, but she hears the banshees telling the ghost train that he is remembering what they said to him and the giant hand caught her. The ghost train's name is now Tommy the Puffer and he doesn't work for her anymore. At last the sun came up and the Great Witch Engine is ready to be dead forever after the giant hand killed her and he turns into the Flying Dutchman. Everyone watches as the Great Witch Of Souls explodes and she is dead forever! And that is the end of the Great Witch Engine.

The Dark World (2013)

=== At the haunted castle, the Great Witch Engine reappeared and she's back from the dead! She thanked Quan Kaah for making her alive after she died two years ago. She knew that it's Thomas's fault and plots to get her revenge! The Great Witch Engine decided to think about which engine she wanted until she chose Steam Engine and brought him to her castle. She told him that she stole his soul which makes Steam Engine very angry. Steam Engine tells her that he died last year before Christmas on the Island of Sodor The Great Witch Engine also told Steam Engine that she died on the Island of Sodor on Halloween night two years ago and it's because of Thomas. The Great Witch Engine and Steam Engine hated Sodor and Thomas so they decided to return back to the Island of Sodor. The Great Witch Engine sends Steam Engine to go to Sodor and he agrees. Steam Engine arrives as a ghost and was delighted then he saw Thomas & was going to attack him but minutes later, he appeared back to the castle again. The Great Witch Engine tells Steam Engine that it's midnight already and it's November 1st because it's not Halloween anymore until next year. Steam Engine is most annoyed. The Great Witch Engine asks Steam Engine if he's willing the wait. Steam Engine told her that he waited from May 2011 to December 2012 and he got nowhere but the Great Witch Engine tells him that he had her in his side and together, her and Steam Engine will be unstoppable. She asks Steam Engine if both of them in or out and Steam Engine accepts but angrily scolds her that she will not be his boss and he doesn't take orders from anyone. The Great Witch Engine just laughed & says that what she loves about Steam Engine, is his attitude and is so determinate to get what he wants. Together, the Great Witch Engine and Steam Engine have their evil plans to attack Sodor for next Halloween year.

The Circle Of Time (2014)

Steam Engine asks the Great Witch Engine if she heard a voice that he did but the Great Witch Engine says she didn't hear a thing as Steam Engine tracks down the voice keeps hearing. Soon Proteus, Al Mighty Witch Engine and Wilfo arrive at the Great Witch Engine's castle. The Great Witch Engine comes out of her castle when suddenly the Flying Dutchman (in his hand shape form) attacks the Great Witch Engine. The Great Witch Engine was shocked and didn't expect to see the Flying Dutchman and tells her that he returned as well since the Great Witch Engine cursed him. Steam Engine then comes out and sees the Great Witch Engine being attacked and posses the Flying Dutchman and makes him release the Great Witch Engine from his grip and pick up Al Mighty Witch Engine and crush her and then knocks out Proteus. Wilfo gets frightened and runs away but he is stopped by the Great Witch Engine and Steam Engine and Steam Engine absorbs him. They both kidnap Proteus and imprison him in the Great Witch Engine's castle. The Great Witch Engine then goes with Steam Engine too the Island of Sodor where Steam Engine brutally kills Thomas, then Duck arrives and tells Steam Engine how hes shocked that he's has returned as a ghost and can't live of the thought of having a evil, twisted brother like Steam Engine. Just as Steam Engine is about to absorb Duck: the ghost of Noob suddenly arrives and saves him. The Great Witch Engine then casts a spell to poison the world with a supernatural disease and she says that each and every soul would be theirs but Steam Engine says that each and every soul will be his but she denies that will happen. As everyone in the world continues to die slowly, the Great Witch Engine and Steam Engine are proud of themselves, then the Great Witch Engine then senses a ghost who has returned on Earth and goes with Steam Engine to pay him a visit. Tommy the Puffer appears and is confronted by The Great Witch Engine who tells him there could've been a reasonable exclamation to why barrier between the physical and spirit realm has been reopened. Tommy the Puffer is confused because the Great Witch Engine died 3 years ago, but the Great Witch Engine says she is alive and tells him how he worked with Proteus and the Flying Dutchman to kill her. Tommy the Puffer offers to be her ghost train again but the Great Witch Engine refuses and Steam Engine arrives and says he has heard so much about him and absorbs him. The Great Witch Engine then scenes the Flying Dutchman on Sodor and sees him take Sir Handel with him, the Great Witch Engine follows him. She arrives at the haunted mountains and comes face to face with the Flying Dutchman once again. Steam Engine appears and confronts Duck, Noob, and the Flying Dutchman and says what a nice family reunion they have. Steam Engine tells Duck that he absorbed everyone on the Skarlory Railway as well as the National Railway Museum, then attacks him and says it's his turn to die. The Flying Dutchman (in his hand shaped form) tries to protect Duck but gets paralyzed by Steam Engine again. Noob comes behind Steam Engine and pins him while the Great Witch Engine is about to attack a unconscious Flying Dutchman, Steam Engine tells her to get Noob off him but the Great Witch Engine refuses and says she's been waiting a long time to get revenge on the Flying Dutchman to which Steam Engine attacks and injures her. Sir Handel comes back with Proteus's orb and Noob sneaks off with it to the Great Witch Engine's castle. The Great Witch Engine and Steam Engine both notice and Steam Engine says that the Great Witch Engine was just one of his pawns and follows Noob to her castle.

A flashback in 1894, a ghost engine called Amazon pleads Proteus to resurrect her but Proteus says there's nothing he can do and Amazon leaves distraught. She approaches Quan Kaah and gets scared, Quan Kaah tells her to go get Proteus but she doesn't want to since he wouldn't resurrect her. So Quan Kaah offers her a deal and turns her into the Great Witch Engine then Quan Kaah tells her to get rid of her tender since she doesn't need it anymore and there is a castle waiting for her. In the present day the Flying Dutchman asks the Great Witch Engine were Amazon is when all off a sudden the railway of the dead begins to collapse by Quan Kaah and Proteus says the only place to go now is either the underworld or the land of the living. the Great Witch Engine ends up in the underworld with Proteus. Iron Duke, another member from the GWR 3031 Dean Single Class, appears to them and tells Proteus the the Great Witch Engine is Amazon! Distraught, Proteus says thats why she tormented the Flying Dutchman all those years because he was in fact her brother. Iron Duke tells the Great Witch Engine that next year she will return to being Amazon whether she likes it or not.

Powers and Abilities

The Great Witch Engine possess powers and abilities that was granted by Quan Kaah, her creator. After her spiritual decay is complete, she develops supernatural abilities. It is unknown how her powers increase.

Weaknesses

In spite of her powers of strength and resilience, the Great Witch Engine possess weaknesses and limitations that threaten their very being and give humans, animals and ghosts advantages over them.

• Light - The Great Witch Engine does indeed burn in sunlight but do not ‘burst into flames’. Her skin contains chemical which reacts with sunlight, upon touch to UV rays she lose their skin and crumble to dust, stone, ash, bones, gooey piles and some vaporize. However, in some occasions she does burst into flames that have light touching her heart.
• Magic - The Great Witch Of Souls is vulnerable to the effects of magic. Proteus & some ghosts are able to give supernatural aneurysms that cause her blood vessels to explode.
