"The Shining Road" is the main theme song of Station Square, as well as being the first song that plays during the ending credits of the film. It was published as the film's lead single by Interscope Records and is performed by Cynthia Erivo. It premiered at midnight on July 11, 2024. It also serves as the theme song for the romance between Peter Wachowski and Charlotte Thompson.
Upon its release, "The Shining Road" received positive reviews from music critics. The song was widely praised by critics and received nominations for and wins the Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Song and the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media.

The music video features Cynthia Erivo singing in a darkly lit setting while sitting next to a reflection pool while wearing a stunning, highly stylized light blue gown, which has a sparkly, effervescent, translucent, and diaphanous quality. Throughout the video, we also see clips from the upcoming director's cut, as well as behind-the-scenes footage.
Film composer Harry Gregson-Williams provided the orchestra for the song, and film director Gareth Edwards directed the music video.
