Tifa Lockhart, alternatively known with the last name Lockheart, is a playable character in Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII Remake, she also plays a supportive role in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. She is Cloud Strife's childhood friend, and a member of Avalanche.
Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend from Nibelheim, but lost contact with him years ago. When she meets him again, she convinces him to join Avalanche, the resistance group she is a member of, to fight Shinra Electric Power Company, whom she bears hatred for due to the destruction of their hometown. She supports Cloud as his comrade and helps him and his allies fight Sephiroth. Tifa is emotionally shy and empathic, acting as a motherly figure towards her allies when providing encouragement and emotional support.
Tifa uses her martial arts moves in battle, equipping knuckles as her weapon. Her Limit abilities make use of her martial arts techniques further. In the original Final Fantasy VII, unlike other characters, her Limit Break abilities are not selected from a list, rather, each ability can be used consecutively if the slots land on the "Yeah!" reel for the ability.

Dissidia: Shadowgate[]
Tifa was one of the first six warriors that had perished in Dissidia on account on sealing the Rift. She wound up in Stormhaven, waiting for the other warriors that Cosmos told her about. Soon enough, she reunited with Cloud and her other friends, before they went on their way to Shadowgate Castle in order to prevent the warlock from rising the Behemoth which is said it has enough power to salvage all worlds.
She progressed throughout the dreaded castle, even against several Lobos with Cloud, Cecil, and Kain. The alpha female kept howling to conjure more Lobos and Cloud strategized to attack her first! They succeeded, even to the last stronghold before the warlock. Tifa then retained some deeper memories of her early childhood, even when she climbed the mountain, or became a member of AVALANCHE, or restoring Cloud's real memories in his subconscious damaged by Sephiroth. They vowed to put an end to the monstrosity together, and everyone fell in battle. Until Firion assembled the sacred Staff of Ages and sent it and the warlock back to Hell! Tifa, with Cloud, soon wound up in the Planet's Core and their friends Yuffie, Red XIII, Barret, Marlene, Denzel, and Cait Sith found them both alive and well!
Daemon Rising with a...SMASH![]
Inside a Game Cube, Enzo, Frisket, Fox, Young Link, and Hack & Slash rebooted. The one that transformed into a Tifa lookalike was actually the young Sprite! He was thrilled on having such bulky muscles and able to perform a variety of moves! As they infiltrated the Shinra Mako plant, his arts were vital to the team's progression, even against the User, Safer Sephiroth! Although he had a decision he had to make. Fox convinced him he shall never stay in the Game as soon as it's over, since he has his family to look after and not waste his days trapped inside Games and compile into the aggressor, Matrix; courtesy of the files Akari downloaded on knowing every possible victim Daemon would infect! Enzo did decide to leave the Game, against his sister's orders.
