Toadies (singular Toady or sometimes Toadie) are small Magikoopa enemies with propellers on their heads and are normally dressed in red, causing them to also somewhat resemble Fly Guys. The most prominent Toadies are a particular group of four that work for Kamek, though singular Toadies also appear. The word "toady" means "underling" (usually in the context of bullying or otherwise intimidating), and its use does not always refer to Toadies as a species, one such example being Fawful referring to himself as one in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
They are Kamek's underlings which have several different classes and the secondary antagonistic faction of the Yoshi's Island series. Toadies usually travel in a four-man team and possess propellers on their heads that enable them to fly. They have appeared in almost every Yoshi spinoff to date. These are generally red in color and do not appear unless Baby Mario has been in his bubble for too long in the Yoshi's Island games. They're a Magikoopa sub-species.
