Season 3 episode 5 of Nightwing & Batgirl.
Plot[]
Batman and Talia are sleeping on their bed. Talia keeps thinking about Batman's safety.
The next day, Batman and Talia woke up and changed clothes. Bruce wore his Batman outfit. While Talia al Ghul changes her dress from her nightgown to her leather suit.
"Bruce. I never thought this day would come, but I'm leaving now. I had to.", Talia told her.
"What? Why so sudden? This doesn't make any sense. Why?", Batman asked.
"Bruce, I love you. But I can't stay in a relationship where both of us keep constantly getting in harm's way.", Talia answered.
"Talia, I know you. You're a strong woman. Whatever troubles and trials come our way, we will face it together. You know we'll always have each other.", he said.
Then, Talia al Ghul told Batman, "I don't think I can hold on to our love, Bruce. If I continued loving you, you would continue protecting me and you might get yourself into trouble. I don't want you to suffer anymore because of love. That's why, I'm now returning to the League of Shadows", said Talia.
"Wait. I love you more than my life, and I give my life to you", said Batman.
"No, Bruce. I'd like to announce that this relationship is over. Come back to Catwoman. She's your first love anyway.", Talia responded.
She now leaned onto Batman and kissed him. After that, she returned to Bruce the engagement ring he gave her, then she ran away. The scene moves to the League of Shadows headquarters. Ra's saw Talia and embraced her and welcomed her for coming home. Then, she wore her black suit.
"It's good to have you back on our side, my daughter. The next time we see the Dark Knight, we shall crush his bones.", Ra's said.
The scene moves to Batman drinking at the counter of a bar. He finishes one drink. Moments later, Catwoman came and sat beside him. Batman was surprised.
"Bruce. Did something bad happen?", Catwoman asked.
"Wait. How did you know I was here?", Batman asked.
"I went to the cave. But Alfred told me that you went to drink here. Is something wrong? Please tell me.", Catwoman asked.
Batman drank another glass and asked the bartender for another two. Then he gave one glass to Catwoman.
"That's on me.", he told the bartender.
"Thanks.", Catwoman told him.
They both had a drink. He now told her what happened between him and Talia.
"Talia broke up with me. She told me she can't be in a relationship where both of us are placed in constant trouble. That's why she decided to go back to her father, and the League of Shadows.", Batman explained.
"Oh, Bruce. I know exactly how that feels. To lose the person you love the most.", Catwoman replied.
"I'm glad you're here. I'm glad you understand me.", Batman said, as he drank another glass of beer.
"Bruce, you've been drinking too much.", Catwoman told her.
He was looking at the ring he gave Talia.
"Now that you've broken up with her, why don't we consider giving us another shot? Honestly, I think that ring fits better on my finger.", Catwoman suggested.
"Please, I don't wanna talk about that yet. I still haven't moved on from Talia. It would take a while. Telling me such stuff won't make me feel any better, so please, just stop.", Batman replied.
Catwoman said, "You chose the wrong woman. If you have loved me, you wouldn't get hurt. You should've loved a cat woman".
Then, the two embraced and kissed each other.
Now Catwoman said goodbye, "I gotta go now, Bruce. I got a little business to settle. Don't drink too much."
"Yes. Be careful.", Batman replied.
Catwoman now left. Batman stayed at the bar for a few more drinks, and later goes back to the Batcave to sleep.
The scene moves to Catwoman in the League of Shadows mansion. There, she took down Ra's al Ghul's assassins. Ra's was shocked. Now, Talia and Catwoman fought.
"I knew you'd come here, Catwoman. To avenge your former lover.", Talia said, expecting her.
"I'm glad you know me, Talia al Ghul.", Catwoman replied.
"Bruce talks about you a lot. Seems like you're not so intimidating after all.", Talia told her.
"You don't know me well yet.", Catwoman said.
"I like your spirit, but you made a big mistake, coming here alone, kitty.", Talia responded, as they continued battling.
"After meeting you in person, I realized why you and Batman did not last. It's because of your attitude.", Talia continued.
Later, Talia was able to defeat her. Catwoman later woke up, tied upside-down and her mouth gagged.
"Just a cat", said Ra's al Ghul.
When she grunted, Talia immediately removed her gag. Catwoman immediately reached for her phone and called Batman, who was asleep after getting drunk. The phone ring woke him up.
"Bruce, help me!", Catwoman exclaimed.
"Selina? Where are you?!", Batman asked.
"I'm here at the League of Shadows mansion! They took me down and I was held captive here! I need you, Bruce! Quick!", Catwoman answered.
"Okay! I'll get there as soon as possible! Don't worry!", he told Catwoman.
Talia took the phone from Catwoman and told Bruce, "You better hurry, beloved. Before my father does something bad to your mistress."
"How could you do this to her? I can't believe you!", Batman told her, angrily.
"Don't worry. I'll take good care of her.", Talia told him, as she now dropped the call.
Batman now got to his Batplane and called Nightwing and Batgirl to go with him to the League of Shadows mansion immediately.
"Who's in trouble?", Nightwing asked.
"Catwoman.", Batman answered.
"But why? What would they possibly want with her?", Batgirl asked.
"I'll explain later. Let's get there first.", Batman replied.
Ra's al Ghul went out of the room for a while.
"Take care of me? More like kill me!", Catwoman told Talia.
"I'm sorry. I know I went a bit too far.", Talia replied.
"After what you did do you think I can just forgive you that easily?", Catwoman asked.
"Trust me. I regret what I did. I shouldn't have done that. Only Ra's has plans for you. Just tag along and you might be able to survive.", Talia told her.
Catwoman thought about it first, before finally agreeing, "Fine."
Later, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Batman came. They taken down the Ninja Minions. They later went to the room where Catwoman was held captive. Talia ran at Batman and they embraced.
"Bruce! I'm glad you came! Let's talk later. We gotta get out of here first.", Talia said.
"Alright.", Batman replied.
Now, Nightwing and Batgirl freed Catwoman.
"Selina! So this is the business you told me. Why did you go here alone? Are you out of your mind? What were you trying to prove?", Batman asked her.
"I just wanted to make sure the woman who betrayed you pays for it.", Catwoman told her.
"She did not betray me! She made her choice, and explained it to me nicely before leaving.", Batman told her. "Let's sort this out later, we still got a clan of assassins to deal with."
Ra's now summoned more Ninja Minions to attack the five heroes. Now, the five heroes fought the Ninja Minions. After they taken those out, he commanded Ubu, Lady Shiva, Black Spider, Sensei, and Bane to come forth and attack the heroes. Nightwing fought Ubu, Talia fought Lady Shiva, Catwoman fought Black Spider, Batgirl fought Sensei, and Batman fought Bane. The heroes were able to take down the League of Shadows' elite. After that, Batman now had a swordfight with Ra's al Ghul. Batman fell to the ground and was already weak.
"Now go!", Batman told the others.
Nightwing and Batgirl immediately went outside, but Catwoman and Talia remained inside and protected Batman. But, Ra's defeated them and knocked them both unconscious. Now, Batman was enraged and stabbed Ra's on the chest with his Bat-sword.
"No! You can't do this! One day I'll make you pay!", Ra's groaned and retreated. He quickly ran to the Lazarus Pits in his HQ.
Now, Batman carried Catwoman on his shoulders and carried Talia on his arms, going outside the Shadows hideout. Later, Batman, Nightwing, and Batgirl woke them up. The two thanked the heroes.
"Bruce, I'm sorry for the things I said earlier. I guess I went a bit too far and let my emotions run high. I don't know why. Maybe I just missed my father.", Talia apologized. "But then I realized, I still love you so much. Can you forgive me?", she asked.
"It's okay.", Batman replied.
"You forgive me that easily?", Talia asked.
"Of course I do, Talia. It's alright. I understand you, and I knew you were not yet fully committed to the League of Shadows. I knew it when you told me to hurry up before your dad does something bad to her.", Batman explained.
"I'm glad you do.", Talia replied. "By the way, I got something to ask you.", she told him.
"What is it?", Batman asked.
"Between Selina and I, who do you choose?", she asked.
"I choose you, Talia.", Batman answered.
Now, Batman showed her the engagement ring she returned to him and Batman went down on one knee to propose to her again, "Talia al Ghul, I ask you again. Will you marry me?"
"I do. I always will.", Talia replied, as Batman wore the ring on her finger.
Then, Batman got up as they kissed and embraced each other.
After that, Catwoman exclaimed, "How could you do this to me? I loved you, and this is what I get in return? One day Bruce, you'll regret your decision".
"Selina, we already talked about this. I am now happy with Talia. And if you really love me, you'd be happy for me and respect my decision.", Batman told her, calming her down. It worked and she calms down.
"I, guess you're right. I now respect your decision, Bruce. ", Catwoman agrees, as her voice calms down.
"So, since you've now made your decision, Batsy, can I have Catwoman?", Nightwing asked.
"Dick!", Batgirl angrily said.
"Batman, are you happy with me?", asked Talia.
"Of course I am. Why won't I? I'm back together with the woman I love.", Batman answered.
"I'm glad you are. All I ever wish is for you to be happy.", she told her.
"I'm more than happy to be with you.", he replied.
"I wish you both the best.", Catwoman told them.
The episode ends with them walking back to the Batplane, and Nightwing and Batgirl heading to the R-Plane.
