Trunks (トランクス 'Torankusu') is the first child and son of Vegeta and Bulma and the elder brother of Bulla.

The Bouncer tetralogy[]
Trunks was first seen frolicking with Goten outside Goku's home as Ayame started her mission on looking for the Dragon Ball in Dog Street. Later on, Trunks and Goten woke up as Ayame failed to get the Dragon Ball, and they were alerted by Gohan trouble's afoot. Trunks volunteered to kick Dauragon's tail, and the Special Forces', arses! Bulma was reluctant on enlisting him and Goten, but Gohan and Goku were confident on what they can do since they were kids! She eventually accepted as long as Ayame looks after them.
Trunks seemed to be the most bravest, confident kid in the group! And he even won over Volt's insecurity. He commented on Trunks' strength and skills, and he commented on Volt's abilities though as a human he was average in his eyes. He helped him thru the Mikado Corp till he reached the executive floor and pulled off a sneak attack with one of the Mooks, who was Kou in disguise! Trunks reunited with the 3 Bouncers, Ayame and retrieved the Dragon Ball thanks to Dominique. He didn't hesitate to team up with Volt as they distracted the guards with Kou and Goten at the Rocket Tower while Sion and Ayame escorted Dominique down. He reunited with the gang and was on healing duties with Ayame, till he noticed the satellite shifting and making Dominique go haywire, revealing she's an android much to his intrigue!
As the Bouncers went to the Galeos, Trunks hesitated in awe, till Goten and Ayame agreed to save the world. He was able to assist to take down the black bots, and encourage Volt taking down Echidna. He was fascinated with their bitter past as well as his family's rivalry with Mikado, much like their power struggle! So, the gang went to the Air-Carrier, and he helped take out Mugetsu! He then sensed people getting killed by the satellite. And he grew interested as Kaldea was used as a cloning test subject for bionoid technology making Dominique more real. And he was nervous while feeling his partner fail to Dauragon and was determined to stop him and save the world at all costs! He teamed up with Goten turning into Super Saiyans, while Ayame healed the trio with halves of Senzu Beans. But she was held hostage, causing the Saiyans to panic till Sion saved her! He and Goten did the finishing move causing him to collapse and surrender the Dragon Ball. They escaped, and Trunks lifted Volt as the heroes flew home.
Trunks was seen again at Capsule Corp hanging out as Dominique was taken in to be operated. Bulma wanted him to show Sion his room, and while it was raining, the cityscape reminded him on when he met Dominique; Trunks was enthralled by that. And he went to the door, jokingly thinking the guest was Dr. Gero, but it was just Wong looking for Sion. He was taken in by Panchy, and Trunks was forced to do his homework as the reunion began, though Trunks presented Sion his fallen sensei revived by the Dragon Balls.
Finally, Trunks was seen in Fate with Goten drinking root beer, and eventually accepted Echidna as their own. He then made a final farewell to Volt.
During Sion's birthday, he was invited, and he gave a large check to him by Capsule Corp as a donation to Edge increasing money for lower crime rates and more advanced economics. He was curious on Sion's drunkenness. Later on, he volunteered with Goten to protect innocents from Jet Black Sion.
In the Yakuza Saga, Trunks was one of the Z-Fighters enlisted at the last minute to fend off the neo-Yakuza with Goten; they monitored Sion's homestead, and he recognized the Mikado markings on the black helicopter, alarming Mikado's back!! Even worse, Volt was one of the brainwashed Bouncers controlled by a microchip installed in each horn piercing!! He didn't hesitate to evacuate everyone out of the collapsing building and merged with Goten to become Gotenks, and team up with Gohan to take out Dauragon as a dark chimera! After they were successful, Trunks headed to the Lookout and noticed Volt as his normal self, while also Echidna becoming a mother-to-be!! They were inspired by him, to decide to have a son named Pence!! He also volunteered to clean house part-time as a future Bouncer, aside from working as president for Capsule Corp.
