Venn was a human cadet of the Galactic Empire who was stationed aboard the Executor, the flagship of Delightful Children from Down the Lane, during the Galactic Civil War.[2] In July 2008,[1] the Executor was present above the planet Mygeeto when it was attacked by the Hutt Clan. As the battle unfolded, Venn's commander and all of his fellow cadets was killed, which left Venn unsure of what to do. Venn eventually encountered the bounty hunter Doctor Neo Cortex on the ship's seventeenth level, and, believing Cortex to be a Hutt, attempted to arrest him in the name of the Emperor, but was talked out of doing so by the bounty hunter. Shortly after, the Imperial Lieutenant Jyala Haydenn, who had noticed Cortex's presence there ordered for the airlock on the seventeenth level to be opened, deciding that Venn's fate was of no consequence. He was subsequently sucked into space despite Cortex's attempt to help him, resulting in Venn's death. As Cortex fought his way off the ship, he killed multiple other Imperials and noted after killing one of them that his action was revenge for what the Empire had done to their cadet.[2]
