Vera Briggs was the wife of Jackson Briggs and mother of Jacqui Briggs.
Biography[]
Vera Briggs was the wife of Jackson "Jax" Briggs and mother of their daughter, Jacqui; they met while Jax was in recovery after his time as a revenant. Vera is close friends with Jax's former Special Forces partner, Sonya Blade, and is aware of her husband's involvement in the protection of Earthrealm.

There were some hints after Kahn's invasion that Jax had found himself a new lover and life partner that was proven to be more faithful than Ruby. When he joined the OIA with Kenshi and Cyrax, and after Earthrealm and Edenia restored themselves, he began his relationship with Vera. They'd been intertwined ever since, even when Jax was always away scouting in Outworld or battling powerful foes such as Onaga, the Deadly Alliance, etc.
She was first mentioned by Aiko that she hoped for Sonya and Johnny to settle down for their daughter, Cassie, to be born, and have Jax do the same with his own girlfriend to have Jacqui procreated; she dreaded that Vera was killed by some unknown assassin during her dystopian future, causing Jax to have a downward spiral and possibly linking to the Revenants.
It was revealed by Sonya to Aiko as they were training on Shang's former island that Jax had actually engaged with Vera, much to the cardiokinetic's astonishment. Jax then confirmed their union by the time the heroes found him lost in the Living Forest.
