Vinny Griffin is a canine/feline hybrid, albiet a pussyhound (that just means he's one-sixteenth cat). He is owned by the Griffin family. He used to be owned by an old man named Leo before he died in a yoga accident. Brian came to Vinny's old apartment and brought him to the local pet shop, where he would later buy him as a Christmas present for the Griffins.
History[]
Vinny's story began when his owner, an old man named Leo, died when his pubical sack split in half while he tried doing the first pose in a yoga class. Vinny was left an orphaned dog then, until Brian came into his life. At the tiny apartment, a fast friendship started between the two dogs.
Later that day, Brian dropped Vinny off at the Quahog pet shop, where he would later buy him as a Christmas present for the Griffins. What Vinny didn't know between the two times was that Brian was a robot, which was the result of his accidental near death. With that event averted and Brian now a real dog again, he was able to buy Vinny, with his owner, Peter's youngest son, Stewie, by his side.
Since Christmas, Brian and Vinny became more than just friends; they were like brothers, and had to go on amazing adventures together, including going through the Multiverse.
