"Welcome Home!" is an Episode from Jack and James Season one, and the first episode of this series. Jack and James both get adopted by a happy family, where their new life makes them extremely suitable.
Plot[]
ACT I[]
Jack and James, twin brothers living in a desolate Mars colony, face starvation and desperation. They encounter the sinister Child Catcher, Mr. Wormwood, who lures them into his van with promises of food and shelter. Once inside, they realize the grim truth of their situation as children get put into a deep sleep known as the "big sleep", which is also known as death.
James and Jack ultimately find themselves separated as Mr. Wormwood takes James to a seemingly loving home. However, James insists that Jack be taken in as well, leading to their joyful reunion in a new, well-maintained house with a kind family. They are welcomed by Clara, Harold, and Luna, who becomes their new sister. The twins adjust to their new life, with James fixing a broken robot named "Zloyd" and Jack bonding with Luna. They share stories and begin to form a family bond through traditions like telling bedtime stories. Their new family offers them love, food, and hope, marking a fresh start for the once-starving twins. Jack and James embracing their newfound home and family as they settle into their bunk beds for the night.
ACT II[]
In the early morning, Jack and James are abruptly awakened by their father, Harold, who enthusiastically prepares them for their first day of school. After a quick breakfast prepared by their mother, Clara, the twins gather their new backpacks and head out, feeling nervous but excited. As they arrive at Mars High School, they experience the overwhelming atmosphere of a bustling school full of unfamiliar students. James, eager to impress, demonstrates his invention, a Universal Translator, which captures the attention of a girl named Norica. However, when he tries to showcase another invention, a jetpack, it malfunctions, leading to a comedic mishap that leaves him embarrassed but also endears him to Norica.
During Homeroom, they meet Jake, who is obsessed with Both of them, as he helps them out with James' love problem. Throughout the day, the twins navigate new friendships and the challenges of school life, with James developing a budding crush on Norica.
By the end of the episode, they recognize the potential for new beginnings and the promise of a brighter future, underscored by their newfound friendships and experiences. Jack and James leave the school day feeling hopeful about the adventures ahead, especially regarding Norica.
