Yuna is a playable character in Final Fantasy X, and the main protagonist of Final Fantasy X-2.
In Final Fantasy X, Yuna becomes a summoner like her father before her, and embarks on a pilgrimage to expel Sin, a monstrous creature that terrorizes the world of Spira. She meets Tidus who teaches her there is more to life than sacrifice. In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna is a sphere hunter on a personal quest to uncover the mystery behind a movie sphere and becomes involved in rising political tensions and an ancient force that threaten to end Spira's Eternal Calm.
Yuna in Final Fantasy X is the only character who can summon aeons into battle, with her Overdrive allowing her to summon an aeon with their Overdrive already full. Her Sphere Grid path grants her curative and defensive Wht Magic abilities, and she equips rods and rings. Her Celestial Weapon, Nirvana, gives all her spells one MP cost. In Final Fantasy X-2, Yuna's default dressphere is a Gunner, and her special dressphere is the Floral Fallal.
Body of Dark, Heart of Light[]
Yuna was seen with Kain at the Lunar Subterrane as they encountered Kuja with his new Dark Knight partner. Yuna volunteered to be the Dragoon's backup partner while he took on the enemies. He was able to defeat the wrathful knight causing Kuja to retreat. Kain was about to slay him until Yuna stated the Dark Knight's been feeling a lot of turmoil upon his dark abilities. She tried to soothe the wounded adversary and asked what his name was, in which he replied he's Cecil which toggled a memory in the Dragoon. After Cecil fainted, they carried him to Cosmos. She described the situation, and the goddess sensed his tainted soul with the speck of light. Yuna was impressed on him being chosen. She was also in his mind as she assured that he needs to open his heart and accept his friends for support in order to endure his dark abilities, thus using them for the greater good. She was unable to cure Firion in the Crystal World after being severely wounded by Cecil, but thanks to restoring him, as he was the one who drained his life, he was fully recovered. Although it wasn't too long after when Cecil lost Yuna and Kain.
Dissidia Shadowgate[]
Yuna was a minor character who fell during the 12th cycle as she and her comrades were sealing the Rift. Since then, she ended up at Castle Stormhaven with them, till she finally reunited with Tidus! At first, he could hardly remember her, but she never gave up like she didn't as he was infected by Sin's toxin. She still remembered his valiance at Spira and Dissidia. She always stuck with Tidus, even during battles curing him from the wraith and the Behemoth. Before the last battle, she was so ecstatic Tidus finally remembered being her topmost guardian and her pilgrimage as he was devoted to put an end to the monstrosity just like with Sin! She and Tidus failed to defeat it, till Firion finished the job.
Yuna woke up at Besaid inside a hut and was awakened by Rikku that Tidus has returned! She and Paine allowed her to dash toward him and reunite! He noticed she had changed a lot since the last times he saw her. And it all started when she found a sphere of him!

- Much like Tidus, though opposing his name, her name is associated with the moon.
- One of her aeons, Valefor, has been chosen as one of Ikran's Chiropterans in Video Games; she's also her favorite aeon in Final Fantasy X!
