Zapdos (サンダー, Sandaa) is an Electric/Flying-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation I. It is part of the Kanto Legendary Birds, along with Articuno and Moltres. In Generation VIII, exclusive to The Crown Tundra, Zapdos has a Galarian Form that is a Fighting/Flying type.

Zapdos had its egg hatched after living several years in Hyrule; as delivered by Mewtwo. Unfortunately, Zapdos was imprisoned by the Gerudo; however unlike the other Electric-Types, it was captured within the Gerudo's Training Ground, a very tumultuous maze. With the help from some of Zelda II's Pokemon, Link was able to reach the end and save it. It shortly became one of Nabooru's guardians after it became a vital teammate in the Spirit Temple paralyzing all enemies, even the Twinrova! It even performed a Sky Attack while Articuno and Moltres were feeding the witches their opposing energies, causing them to explode! Zapdos became one of the members for the Gerudo/Pokemon army, and was worshipped by the Gerudo!
